"This is the best Italian fine dining in BOSTON" - Zagat. Famous for its authentic Italian food, which is complimented with excellent service and sophisticated ambiance.
We dined here with friends on a very rainy Monday night. It has wonderful ambiance, a bit dark. The bread and oil mixture to start was delicious!! Our friends both ordered the halibut which they said was delicious. I enjoyed the filet over spinach and mashed potato. The beef was cooked perfectly, rare, and so tender. The spinach was delicious but the mashed potato had a little too much Parmesan for me (Iâm one of the few who doesnât love Parmesan cheese). My husband ordered the veal chop. When it arrived he tasted it and found it very tough. I took a piece and agreed, very tough. We dine out a lot and he orders the veal chop often. The manager came over and was so very accommodating. They tried to cook it a bit more but that didnât change the consistency. He then offered my husband whatever other dish he desired for no charge, no charge for the veal or the new dish. We had all finished eating when my husbandâs meal came out, but, I thought the manager handled it perfectly. A bad cut happens.... I would definitely dine here again.

Walking distance from our stay at The Verb Hotel. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday around 9pm. The service was good and quick. The slices were large and filling with fresh ingredients. If we are ever back in the Fenway area we shall be back for a slice.

Very, very good (and creative) pizzas and very, very good (and diverse) ice cream. Hard to believe the chocolate sorbet is not ice cream - ridiculously creamy! The spaghetti with house made pasta wasnât bad either! Itâs no wonder they are so busy. Rachel, the owner, was very helpful to get us seated quickly.

If its fresh seafood your craving, then the Daily Catch in Brookline is where you want to be! A spin-off from the original location, this twenty seat restaurant provides a relaxing ambience, friendly staff, and the some of the best Italian seafood around.
We ate here a couple of summers ago and enjoyed the casual atmosphere and great food. Service used to be friendly and welcoming. We walked through a rain shower to get here. Unfortunately like its sister restaurant by the seaport Daily Catch has fallen into mediocrity and lacklustre almost hostile service. My advice - fish or go home.

Ok so it is not really hidden, just found by accident. Loving small plate restaurants we thought we would give it a try. Loved the decor. Waiter was supper helpful. Drinks were different and delicious. We asked for help ordering and waiter suggested chef tasting menu. Which was fabulous. Even better 1 person in our party of four has a dairy allergy and the kitchen perfectly substituted and plated his portions seamlessly. Would definitely recommend and return. Hello, Thank you so much for your kind review. We are happy you enjoyed our Chef's tasting menu and your overall dining experience with us here at SRV. We hope to host you again soon! In this smallish unassuming Italian restaurant, I had the best pasta bolognese that I have ever eaten. It was amazing! I have tried similar dishes in NYC, in Rome, in Florence, in D.C.,etc.,but they honestly could not compare. In addition, our salads were perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients, the risotto was excellent & the bread, perfection. The service was very pleasant & warm & efficient. Only the decor was rather generic & the near neighborhood rather unattractive. But I must go back, the food was soooooo good!!!!

This incredible Italian restaurant is in a little storefront that will give you pause as it is very unassuming and frankly noisy and crowded. The staff is very accommodating and the food is off the charts. I had a Veal Chop that was stuffed with herbs and croutons and served with a side of vegetables and pasta. Incredible flavor, cooked to perfection, just the best Iâve had this side of Dâ Raymonds in Albany,NYTry this diamond in the rough and you will be richly rewarded!JonG
