everyplace we ate in bronte, we were almost alone in the restaurant. here was no exception, but the food was so yummy we got over the bizarre feeling of being 2 of the only 4 patrons. the vegetables were particularly well prepared, and the foccacia that was part of the bread basket was irresistible! the pastas were average, it's hard to eat bad food in sicily.

We get off from the train and looking for something special about pistachio as my girl friend liked it very much. We finally settled ourselves in this restaurant for lunch. It is a small restaurant located at the corner of an inner street. Not that easy to find. We order chicken and pistachio pasta and we get lost in translation. We ordered food with a total of around 23 euro and the bill is settled at 35! And eventual there are some costs we misunderstood. After all, the quality is so so... not a satisfying meal.

The food here was excellent. The pasta with Bronte pistachio was excellent as was the mixed meat grill and the beef (in mustard) main courses. Grilled vegetables were excellent and fresh. Starter of arancini was fresh and very tasty. Bronte pistachio gelato dessert was a must as you are in Bronte! The gentleman serving us was very good, friendly and attentive.Only complaint, that despite the restaurant having an opportunity to see of the most glorious views in Sicily, you could not see Mt. Etna. The lighting is bright and the restaurant has zero atmosphere. Even with wild flowers blooming all around the area and the property, not any effort made to make the dining room pleasant looking. It was cold and lifeless. Yes we understand maybe they want the focus on the food, but they could still create a lovelier atmosphere in the dining room. As it is now, the beige and white theme with staid environment left us cold.OR TIP to restaurant - work on your lighting so Mt. Etna can be seen through the windows - perhaps dimming dining room lighting with directional lights on tables. Remember that is why tourist at re there - to SEE mt. ETNA!
A journey through the flavors of Sicily in an atmosphere that tastes of tradition. A menu made of a few simple seasonal ingredients from the local region. Protosteria, a contemporary tavern to discover the Sicilian spirit around a dinner table.
everything from starter to desert make us happy, pistachio pasta, pistachio cake..., nice owners, they also speak little english, porcions are pretty big. Also monday when everything was closed they were open.

Since 1958 the restaurant "Il Fiorentino" - located near the Simeto river and the Nelson castle - works exclusively local foods and seasonal produce and freshness of the food. We are careful in selecting the best and most genuine products, we do not serve
It is the best pasta place we have tried during our time in Sicily. Truly recommendable - a traditional dish made of the local ingredients and home made pasta... After the first round of pasta we were actually discussing having another round of pasta. The three Dollar-Signs as price indication are a bit much. A perfect pasta for 8⬠is very affordable.

Just good food options in this unpretentious shop for local specialities. For a huge plate of local appetisers with bread, wine and coffee we spent 12.50 euros in total... we almost felt guilty to pay so little. The guys working there were also very friendly and chatty. We liked the whole experience a lot!

I loved the food! I had the ravioli and the pasta with sausage and finocchio selvatico, the pistacchio bruschette, the grilled meat. I loved everything. Price was good and the owners were very nice. Only one thing, watch out for the steep stairs!!!!

Typical Products made with pistachio: cakes, ice creams, sweets, pesto, cream of pistachio, catering, buffet.
We stopped by this place and were warmly greeted by the owner. We had a great experience talking with her about her store and hand picked, family owned pistachio field while we ate most delicious freshly cooked pistachio arancini followed by truly amazing sweets. Everything is organic! Natural! No additives whatsoever! We felt there was so much love and care put in everything we tried that besides eating there we came out with quite a lot of stuff to take home. Exceptional customer service and truly tasty pistachio products. It's one memorable experience for sure! Thank you very much, I'm really happy that your experience in my bakery was so good, hope you will come back here,
