I am a local, and have seen a number of different pizza places. This place is so very good that it is one of my favorites! Amazing calzones- my favorite is the broccoli. Pizzas are absolutely HUGE, a party size feeds 6 people easy. Tony, the owner, blots the pizza with paper towels when it comes out of the oven so it is not greasy.Things to know- There are limited times that they allow you to use a credit card since it uses their phone line, so plan to bring cash. There is an ATM in the same plazaThe restroom is in the back- you have to walk through the kitchen, past the pizza oven, so be careful. I make sure my kids hit the bathroom at home and bring hand sanitizer for when meals come out.If you let them know ahead of time they will set up a table for you. Great place!

Sibling Birthday DinnerAll 6 of us had something different and all was goodFrom the salad, pasta sauce on the zitti & the haddock.Needless to say, I will go back
Great tasting food. Friendly service, nightly specials. Family atmosphere. What more could you ask for? Prices are very reasonable. Ask for the waitress that works at the dog pound and you will have a fun evening.
We have pizza once every 1 to 2 weeks. Every time we have to order from Monson Italian Pizza. The owner is very sweet, and the staff is very friendly as well. The make amazing pizza and give great service. Eat from Monson Pizza and you will never return.

Pizza was excellent but we waited 30 minutes or more. Staff seemed scattered. They appear to do a much bigger delivery business than eat in.

Seeking a good meal form a local restaurant then consider Village Pizza in Sturbridge. We went to Village and Angela our server (bar tender) welcomed us back. We ordered their large house salads and eggplant parmesan to go. It was excellent. Their pricing is very reasonable. They do an great take out but they have ample seating inside as well at the bar or at table. They have a large menu that will fit most anyone's taste buds. Check them out when you are in Sturbridge again. Cheers.

We were SO hungry and knew we'd be doing some post-nuptials imbibing so it was essential to get some food into our stomachs (long car trip) before watching two wonderful people get hitched. So we called Enrico's (recommended at the front desk) and ordered a pie (only one size is served; large) and ordered our pie with extra cheese, green pepper, and pepperoni. Five minutes later, in the hotel, we agreed to have one slice each MAX; we didn't want to spoil our appetite. Two-and-a-half slices EACH later, we agreed that the PIZZA WAS SO GOOD, as if it was the pizza's fault that we exhibited such a total lack of self-control. Well, it was the pizza's fault, and the next time we're in the area we're going to stop at Enrico's and give those pizzas a piece of our mind. Via our mouths. Then our stomachs. Then our... but we don't want to go there! YUMMERS!

This is an underrated restaurant in my opinion. I used to like Rovezzi's but they have really gone downhill in the last year, in my opinion. Avellino, on the other hand, has been steady. They have a great dining room, with lots of windows, that is delightful. Their food is solid and the wine list is pretty good. Our waiter was obviously a professional waiter -- he was great! I definitely recommend Avellino.

My partner and I had dinner here last night and were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service were. My partner loves lasagna and orders it frequently when dining out. He claims Francesco's is by far the best he has ever had. I had the shrimp scampi and was delighted with my selection. There were twelve large shrimp atop a large mound of spaghetti perfectly seasoned with italian spices and garlic butter. Neither of us could finish our plates and we both took about half home with us. Our server Morgan was polite, very friendly and very attentive and did a fine job of serving us. We observed meals going to other tables and everything we saw looked great and the portions were very generous. We can't wait to go back for another delicious dinner.
