The Metzelet bar is a characteristic mountain chalet surrounded by Grandes Murailles mountains and His Highness the "Cervino". Located a few steps away from the ski slopes and the golf course, it is very popular also thanks to its wide terrace offering ca
Very nice home made cooking! had a meat dish, and it was delicious. As for most of the restaurants a reservation is needed to get a table. We had luck and was seated opposite the kitchen due to fully booked. The service is good and the staff service minded.

Came from Zermatt, and stopped for hot chocolate. It was better than the Swiss ones. Thick and very chocolatey. So we decided to have our lunch here. The menu looked too expensive, and we stayed for the self service lunch. The schnitzel (suprisely was made out of chicken) was made just right, and it was a generous dish. The fries were crispy, just the way I like it. We took tiramisu which was a nice one. Definitely a good mountain restaurant. The big bonus is the amazing view from the balcony.

Get away from the tourist food in Cervinia and make the trip out of town to experience the real mountain food of Aosta. You will not find many English speakers here but the staff is very proficient at communicating and the menu also has English descriptions.I looked forward to the dinner here for the entire trip and was not disappointed. As mentioned by another, the real treat are the off-menu specials which are truly one-of-a-kind. For antipasti, we shared a chestnut gnocchi which was so unique and sublime I doubt I will ever find such a thing again.I had the Zuppe Alpage for my first, and this is the house take on the famous local soup of bread, cabbage, and fontina. Unbelievably filling and perfect for a freezing cold night in the Alps. For second, it was the off-menu bacon wrapped ground quail with sauce and side vegetables. Another dish of sublime perfection and hearty goodness.By the end I had to be rolled out to the car, unable to partake in one of the many fabulous desserts. The service was friendly and helpful, a relaxed pace as is usual of the area. Expect 2-3hr meal. Prices such a bargain for a meal prepared and served so well.

Wow. Stayed at La Luge with a group of friends for a long weekend. The rooms were cosy, comfortable and chic. The food was delicious with vegetarians well catered for. Very good value for money. Great wine list. Lovely Sauna area. 'Super Paolo', as we called him, could not have done more for us. La Luge is around a 5 minute drive from Cervinia town/ski lifts. Paolo drove us in every morning and picked us up every evening. What a man. See you next year!

You don't have to open any doors to find the restaurant: just follow your nose. For example, you will be able to detect the fragrance of the traditional 'seuppa alla valpellinentze,' and other specialities such as polenta, trout smoked with Valle d'Aosta
Lovely restaurant in a swish hotel . Traditional Italian cooking, good menu but not too big. Great wine list. A very enjoyable evening.

Me and my friends had a great meal at Baita. The staff was very friendly, food came fast. As for the food, i had a very good tagliatelle with wildboar, i tasted also some beef chicks, very soft and pumpkin pie with cheese sauce, also very interesting. But the bigest surprise was the desert, which was amazing. Try the mille feuille! Great meal, try them. P. S. You take the snowmobile to get to the restaurant, free of charge.

Lovely restaurant in Cervinia with a selection of fondues, raclettes and pierrades.
We absolutely had the best time at Bistrot Convivial! First, we arrived at this restaurant by accident, without a reservation. But the owner was so nice and accommodating, saying he could get us table in 30 minutes. We waited at the bar and had a glass of prosecco and we're treated to a pIate of of charcuterie. This place is a quaint, yet vibrant restaurant that specializes in raclette and fondue meals, although we saw a mushroom polenta that looked amazing! The owners are a delightfully friendly couple that are easy going and so hospitable. We had the Aosta Valley cheese fondue accompanied by a bottle of local red wine. It was very delicious and reasonably priced. We loved the local vibe of this place as well as the tourist crowd mixed in to the evening's dining. Highly recommended!

Returned here again and enjoyed our best meal over the 4 days . Tony and his staff are so friendly and helpful. He made excellent wine recommendations as we wanted to try something different. The food was superb and not rushed out like many of the other mountain restaurants. Definitely give it a go.
