Ristorante pizzeria con sala interna di 60 pax terrazza panoramica con 80 pax
We had a lovely meal sitting outside (undercover) whilst a thunderstorm surrounded us! The waitress was friendly and efficient and our pizza and calzone was served hot and quickly with good fresh ingredients. Would definitely recommend to dine here as prices were reasonable and there was an extensive menu choice.

Excellent pastas and pizzas, warm welcome by a local family, and rock bottom prices make this unpretentious pizzeria a great lunch option.

I came across Ristorante Acero Rosso while driving through the mountains on my way to visit Cortina d' Ampezzo with family members. Knowing how pricey and touristy many restaurants can be in Cortina, I decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing a road sign advertising it just 500 meters down the road. There was a rather scary one-lane road leading up to the restaurant and I wouldn't have known what to do if I encountered a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. All went well and I'm glad that it did as this turned out to be a marvelous restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and seated by a window that overlooked a beautiful mountain range. Nestled in nature, the locale is warmly decorated with a rustic, mountain motif, having lots of dark wood, a fireplace and soft music playing in the background. Tables were set with fabric tablecloths and napkins and there was good quality service ware (dishes, glassware and utensils). There were also tables outdoors for dining al fresco during the summer months. The menu featured mostly what I call mountain food; hearty dishes with a creative flare. At the owner's recommendation, I started my meal with an antipasto of venison prosciutto. The thinly sliced venison was served on a bed of fresh greens and drizzled with an excellent olive oil. I also tried the toasted bread (crostone) topped with porcini mushrooms and melted cheese. For my pasta course, I enjoyed generous portion of tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Delicious! To close out the meal, I had the Peach Mousse that was also tasty.Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. I look forward to returning to Ristorante Acero Rosso and I highly recommend this restaurant to the TripAdvisor community.

The restaurant "La Cima" has a splendid view of Monte Pelmo and offers a typical contemporary cuisine with Cadore and regional specialties for lunch and dinner. The cuisine of the Dolomites is recognized by every traveler as a refined, generous and delici
I had dinner with my fiancee there two times. The restaurant is part of the hotel. As we stayed half-board dinner was included one of the nights, drinks were paid aside. That night dinner went marvels, the food was quite good, from the area, the house wine was also quite good. Surprisingly good the tagliatelle with blueberries and the vanilla ice-cream with warm blueberry jam. The second day dinner was particularly bad. The two pasta dishes we ordered came out quite salty, as well as the entree. I asked the waiter for a new pasta dish and he came back with it automatically and very politely. So, I cannot give it more than an average. I hope they may solve the issue with the salty cook! :)

We spotted this restaurant driving past, attracted by the great view and waitresses in national costume. Not only is there a nice patio overlooking the mountains but it is really charming inside. Unfortunately as we were on a long journey we couldn't take advantage of the interesting menu as most food is cooked fresh. We did, however, have an excellent venison stew with polenta and service was good.

Ristorante a cucina tipica cadorina, che valorizza prodotti a km zero. E' possibile inoltre gustare i prodotti di Sauris, dalla birra agli affettati. Aperto tutti i giorni.
My husband is from Borca and we have an apartment in Villanova which is part of Borca. We frequent this restaurant often. Very beautifully furnished and so like the rustic mountain furnishings. The food is fantastic so like my beloved mother-in-law made and served. Brings back wonderful memories.

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the local ski guides, who also said, in Cortina, it is impossible to have a bad meal. In Italy, in general, one eats very well. In Cortina, one generally eats extremely well. To every rule there is an exception and this was it.The staff behave as if it is a chore to have customers. They are too busy to get your order right, to take your order, and make unpleasant comments about other customers in the restaurant. When we asked them about the order of one member of our group, who had to sit through most of the meal without their food, the waiter growled and muttered unpleasantly. The staff were eating during service--one waiter bringing to another a tasty sandwich while he stood in the room with us and stuffed it into his mouth. Our waiter was either not interested or not able to answer any questions about the food on the menu--and the answers he did give were incorrect. He walked away before had completed taking the order. He had an attitude. The canederli in brodo were good, but there was absolutely no brodo in the bowl. Just dumplings in a bowl. Other dishes were mediocre or poor. The beef tartare was the worst I have ever had. It had been so finely ground that it was a solid mass of meat that could not be separated--it was gummy and solid and without texture. I managed a few bites. Another main course which included melted cheese, potatoes and mushrooms was served as three distinct piles and seemed just slapped together with indifference. We asked one of the waiters if he was from the area and he told us that he didn't like Cortina, that he only came for the work, and that he really lived somewhere else. A colleague of his then joked with him that she had turned a customer away because the kitchen was closed. The place was full, it was busy, people in ski resorts want to eat at certain times and in certain places, and I am sure the panini are good and the coffee is good. But to sit down here, have bad food, and have the wait staff make you feel like it is a burden to have you in the restaurant is simply not nice. There are so many great places to eat on the slopes and near the slopes in the Cortina area, that I would never consider going to this place again. For a restaurant to have such a horrible attitude to service requires contempt for customers, and it has to be a general attitude to have it reflected so broadly through the staff...and also without incident. We were a discreet, non-descript, undemanding bunch.

We found this restaurant through trip advisor and meal was beyond our expectations. Innovative cuisine mixing Italian and Asian influence (as the chef had been in Japan before). Meals are beautifully presented with creative recipients. It is often a visual show before you indulge in your meal. Professional staff and attentive. Exclusive as they have only four tables. And affordable for quality and level of the restaurant. Highly recommended

That was so amazing experience. Big portion of salads and meat with fresh making beer, perfect self made spaghetti with porcini - yami-yami. I was so nicely impressed. My 100% recommendation to simple (and not expensive/not snobbish) food lovers.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking, they accommodated us even though they were busy. Staff was warm, pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Food made with more attention and care than other restaurants in the area, with a bit of "farm to Table" vibe. Definitely a good choice
