In occasione del compleanno di mia suocera, siamo ritornati in questo bellissimo posto. à stato molto abbellito, anche fuori. Continuamente fanno lavori per renderlo sempre più ospitale. Fuori piantando alberi e composizioni di arbusti per fornire riparo e frescura a panchine opportunamente poste vicino, dentro abbellendo le già belle e spaziose sale. Purtroppo col tempo qualche usanza è venuta meno, che dava maggiore soddisfazione. Per es. la tradizionale offerta di frittelle appena fritte e lâaperitivo, non ci sono più, pur privilegiando le portate di un pranzo più che allettante sia per portate di antipasto che per altro. Sempre pronti a venire incontro a richieste.Antipasti sempre d'effetto, due primi (forse al posto del secondo di primo un risotto non sarebbbe stato male), al posto del piatto con la grigliata abbiamo optato per una fetta d'entrecote, ma c'è chi ha preso tra noi anche la frittura. Forse la frutta e il dolce andrebbero curati di più, ma il ricarico attento delle bevande (un eccellente vino rosso sostenuto), e la musica, hanno reso il pranzo soddisfacente

Great pizza and panzerotti. Fantastic spaghetti with tomato sauce. All run by sisters Giovanna and Francesca who act as head chef and front of house with their enthusiasm, friendliness and energy shining through (Giovanna even speaks perfect English!)

Rimpatriata tra amici. Abbiamo preso delle pizze preferendo stare a casa avendo bimbi piccoli. Ottime pizza, qualità degli ingredienti buona. Attesa nella media. Abbiamo preso le solite pizze classiche. La sfiziosa è veramente superlativa. Birre e aranciate per i bimbi. Prezzi nella media. Per non aspettare tanto conviene andare e ritirare.

A real working olive factory (the harvest is processed from end october until january or february), where you can learn about the intricacies of olive oil production. After the tour you can taste different types of oil in the bar, which is really a restaurant. They offer special menus with olive oil as the central theme (but also with good wine), but a nice antipasti table is also recommended. Worth the detour.

Went to this tipical Braceria or called "Fornello", where you can have all kind of meat from direct sources of the local producers, last October and did surpriced me that much that I'll be back in this tiny town just to eat again in this little restaurant.The quality and the quantity of different choice of meat is just endless, traditionally in Puglia they do have this kind of kitchen were you can chose direct from the butcher fridge and they cooked for you. This one is a MUST TRY! Loved it!

Real authentic Italian pizza! The chef knows what he is doing, serving pizza at a low price against the best quality. Only fresh products! In ritardo ma eccomi a spendere due parole per questo posto. Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno a pranzo di domenica e mi è bastato come regalo. Gli antipasti sono fuori dal comune ,prelibati e sempre diversi e poi questa volta abbiamo lasciato carta bianca allo chef che ci ha preparato due primi uno di mare e uno di terra e ha centrato il bersaglio. Non trovo nessun difetto quando torno qui.. locale piccolo ma accogliente,un buon personale preparato che non guasta mai e ovviamente il cibo è il top,c è solo la qualità qui da Dorotea. We were taken to this gem for a Cena by our cousin that lives in Palo.He did the ordering--we had a sampling of a dozen antipasti that were creative, different and outstanding, such as , ricotta,buffalo mozzarella, grilled octopus, capicolla,and many other wonderful dishes. The main course, we shared an array of grilled meats that's served on a hot plate--veal sausages, pork sausages, filet mignon,lamb chops,etc. All cooked to perfection.For desert, we had the house special--a ricotta filled sorta with chocolate topping -- never had anything like it before.They offered us a complimentary sampling of six liquors, which was a great touch.The building is over 100 years old and it had some interesting characteristics. The service was efficiently attentive.A great dining experience.

Indugiamo nella valida ristrutturazione della casa del 1200 Pietra a vista per sensazione caldo/freddo segugio stagionale. Prezzi qualità molto favorevole.

Highly recommended Our waiter Salvatore spoke brilliant English and recommended some fantastic food although he didnât understand âsmallâ !Our âsmallâ starter to share would have fed four people but was a fantastic taster of all their starters. The rib eye steak was cooked with love on the coals and you could tell that all the staff had a passion for food...steak is served on its own ... remember to order some chips or veg!!Reasonably priced for the standard of food and staff were very attentive and welcoming.Had a lovely dining experience here and would definitely come back againThank you
