We booked a table for dinner for nine of us on a Friday and requested a table with space for a baby buggy. The owner and staff were very accommodating and when we arrived, everyone at the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. The table was beautifully laid with white tablecloths and proper napkins rather than paper ones.Once again, the food was excellent. There was a variety of starters to choose from and the mussels in white wine were plump and juicy and the lobster ravioli was to die for. Everyone had something different for their main courses and there was very little food left on the plates. We have visited La Cucina on many occasions over the years and have never been disappointed with anything. You cannot fault the service, the staff are always friendly and attentive and the restaurant is kept spotlessly clean. There is plenty of variety and the food is perfectly cooked. Desserts were delicious and the complimentary limoncello given to us after our meals was much appreciated.La Cucina is well worth a visit if you are looking for a good Italian in Sidcup â weâll be back!

Beakfast and Lunch. Italian/british cousine Sandwiches, pasta, salads, jacket potatoes, omelettes Catering available 7 days
We popped into this cosy little family owned Italian café in Sidcup again for lunch while in the area and had some delicious Paninis, milk shakes and coffee. All their food is prepared on the premises using fresh ingredients; we have never been disappointed with anything and the staff are so friendly and helpful.Weâll be back to Caffé Nuovo the next time we are in Sidcup â it is one of my favourite places to eat.

This place is always popular. We each had the crab salad (small but delicious) and shared a pizza which was crispy based and delicious. A couple of glasses of wine and a shared dessert made a very pleasant evening. Make sure you book. Lunch and dinner are nearly always busy.Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. We are so delighted to hear that your visit exceeded your expectations. It is because of feedback like yours that we are able to serve drink and food of superior quality.See you soon.

I went along with family members, it was a quiet Wednesday. They only had a waitress and a man who seemed to be in charge. I had a mixed salad to start which was very good,For the main I had a four seasons pizza which was undercooked. It was re fired so that was ok. I am unlikely to return as there is better and better value elsewhere. I didnât get the Italian vibe itâs nice enough but could be a lot better.Hi there,Thank you for taking the time to leave review, your feedback is important to us.I am sorry that the pizza was not cooked to your liking but am glad that we were able to cook it to your taste. We are happy to prepare dishes in accordance with our customers' wishes, just ask your server. We endeavour to provide an Italian aesthetic throughout with our ornate plasterwork, Italian furnishings and rustic decor - I am sorry to hear that the vibe was not Italian enough for you.We do hope that you will change your mind and decide to give us another try in the future.Kind regards,

This was the first time we had visited this restaurant and we were pleasantly pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself was very spaciouslylaid out with lots of room between tables and plenty of natural light. The menu was diverse with lots of pasta and seafood dishes. John chose from the Sunday lunch menu, broccoli soup drizzled with cream and roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with a fantastic jus. A dish of mixed fresh vegetables accompanied the beef. This cost £15.50 for 2 courses. I chose a tomato and onion salad with lots of Parmesan followed by grilled lamb cutlets with mashed potatoes (5 cutlets). The food was excellent as was the service. The waiters had obviously worked at the restaurant for some time and new many of the regular customers who they welcomed with open arms. The ambience was excellent and we will definitely be back very soon.

We have been to Toscana many times but as always am compelled to share the experience, we only had the main meal as the starters are sometimes to much, we had Skate, Cutlets, Seafood special & Liver and Bacon. The service as always was first class, the presentation of the plate even better, the whole Toscana staff work extremely hard to ensure you leave there feeling good, such good value as well. See you again soon.

New authentic Italian restaurant in Bexleyheath. For us cooking and shering food is no less than a way of life. Wherever its eaten, it's always based around fresh seasonal produce
There are three Italian restaurants in Bexleyheath and already Il Vesuvio has blown away the Glasshouse. Wide ranging menu, focusing on Italian food and a much smaller English menu. Nice to eat in a restaurant where there are other diners too!

Fantastic food and very welcoming as always. The pasta and pizza at Marios is superb, all home made and an ever changing specials menu.Iâd suggest asking Mario to give you a pasta tasting menu so you get to try a bit of everything! (You need to ask).See you soon and thanks for being so hospitable as always.John, Ursula and family x

My mother and I ate here last night, we had a great time. The food was very tasty and very reasonable- we both had a starter and a main and the bill came to £38.00. Bring your own bottle and they will provide appropriate glasses. Relatively small menu but still plenty of choice between meat, fish or veggie dish. Only improvement would be to make the toilet area a little more welcoming. Will definitely be back again.

This small but perfectly formed 'Deli' opens throughout the day serving light snacks and coffee. In the evenings it serves beautiful authentic Italian meals, all freshly cooked by amazing staff. It does not have a drinks licence and is the norm to take along your own drinks but glasses and corkscrews are provided. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed. Italian music was playing in the background which all adds to the ambiance and does not hinder your conversation in any way.The menu is made our mouths water simply reading it and is very reasonably priced. There is a good selection on each course and vegetarians and vegans are catered for.Our party of 4 chose various starters and I went for the Buffalo starter and Pork Belly main which was absolutely gorgeous. All 4 of us had nothing but praise with regards to the food and staff.Deserts were wonderful and there was also a wide range of freshly baked cakes etc on display. At end of service the owner/chef came around and spoke to all of us diners and it was obvious she has nothing but passion for her restaurant. We will certainly be returning in the very near future.
