We are located in the heart of Berkhamsted on Lower kings road just off the high street on the way to the mainline station. Dining is set out over two floors with a huge beautiful 200 year old olive tree situated on the first floor adorned with twinkling
Given voucher for birthday, never been before. Sat upstairs, busy but felt calm. Staff friendly, service very slick. Good choice of menu. Son had liver, which was very tender and cooked as requested. Prawn and crab linguine really good portion, all food hot. Dessert good selection creme brulee and tiramisu. Will visit again, hopefully soon.

This place is really good. The food is excellent and the service good. The lunch menu is particularly good value. I had the vegetable fettuccine with pesto and cream. Lovely!

Ordered pizzas from Bueno last night and they were so delicious. The guy apologised that they were busy and our order would take 20 minutes - I thought that was really quick for four large pizzas with different toppings! Really good menu with lots of variety too, loads of options for vegetarians, and much better value than the other chain pizza brands. We ordered takeaway but the outdoor seating area looks really nice, will definitely be back to try it out.

ASK Italian in Berkhamsted is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Itali
A group of 8 of us went along for this deal. 3 courses for the set menu, good choices including vegan/veggie options. Slightly disappointing that by the time we got to the deserts there were very few left. We didnât realise but there was a service charge levy for the group size. Staff are very friendly and hard working. They did forget one of the deserts and one desert was inedible. I guess we have higher standards when eating out now as we want value for money hence the 4 stars.Nice size restaurant. Toilets are very tired and in need of an update. Good disabled access. Parking on the street or in local car park behind M and S.

Came here with my family and sister in laws, in total 4 adults and 4 children the oldest of 5 and the youngest of 3. I can't say a bad word about the place or the service. Despite being a very small restaurant, we were right in the middle and no way were we crowded by other people or other people. Children were entertained immediately with crayons and a colouring sheet and this held off right through till food was served.
