Of all the Bennington restaurants my husband and I have tried, Allegro is hands-down my favorite. The ambience and service are very good. The food is excellent, and that's saying something--our standard is high. The foid is fresh and freshly crafted. The result? A wonderful meal.

Ramuto's is a local chain of pizzerias in the various cities in Vermont, and New Hampshire offering visitors and locals with an array of good (though not great) uniform Italian eating experience. Large salads, appys, pasta, and a multitude of types of pizza, from one slice to a large pie, are served up, with each location sporting a good bar as well. Good service. Fair prices, large portions.

We went to this Pizza place on a recommend and we were not disappointed, we ordered our food to take out and waited for it to be cooked. The service was good and smiley, the food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The Restaurant itself consisted of quite tightly laid out tables and chairs, was fairly full around 6.30 and the food on all the tables looked very good, excellent value for money.

Our favorite place to eat dinner in Bennington. They have great pizza, calzones, salads, pasta dishes, and yes, bagels. It's located on Main Street and has a moose outside the entrance. You can eat inside or out. Staff is very helpful.
The Lounge is a well-known bar and bistro that has been open since 2002. We are a full-service cocktail lounge with great food. All of our food is prepared to order. Come visit us for a great meal in a casual, cozy environment.
Tried a new place based on family recommendation. Decor suggested a fancy upscale place which made us nervous but it is supposed to be the casual sibling of its expensive neighbor so thought no problem. Basically short story; food was good but not ridiculous. When they say Cajun they mean spicy. The portobello quesadillas were good but the rice wasnât. The salsa was good. Nachos appetizer was chips and cheese with sour cream and salsa on the side. French fries good. Thisâll probably be our only time visiting. Not the beat place if you have kids as they donât want you making any noise.
