Take a look at the menu on the chalkboard before getting in line. The Mac and Cheese comes highly recommended, delicious and not what you might expect, with long noodles and and they give you enough to feed three people (and that was the small size). We ordered the fried chicken, which takes an extra 25 minutes to make, and again, enough to feed at least two people (three if you also get the mac and cheese.) But it was the best fried chicken we have ever had. The atmosphere is kind of cafeteria like, though they do have a full bar. If you have the time and the hunger, this place has a great local reputation for a reason.

This place is a stand-alone restaurant, with a plain exterior and a clean and somewhat fancy and beautiful interior. The service was acceptably good. I ordered the Spaghetti & Meatballs, which was very good, my friend ordered the Egg Plant Parmesan, which he said was excellent, and his wife had the Lasagna, which she said was not as good as Stouffer's and was unusually soupy. I tried some, and while I found it unusual, I still thought it was tasty. The two children were pleased with their kid's pizza. Also, the entrees were bountiful and came with big salads and a garlic & cheese bread pie, which surely was a treat. Lastly, the prices, here, are very competitive and fair. RJT

I have been going to this restaurant since 1989! I love it so much, I even had my wedding in one of their private rooms! The wait staff and service are THE BEST! They are highly professional, and the owner(s) are always there to make sure everyone is treated like their family! The lasagna is AWESOME! The entire feel of the restaurant is perfect! THEY DO ITALIAN RIGHT! Just wish they were open more evenings then just Friday and Saturday nights - but the wait is WORTH IT!Thank you for your business throughout the years!

We babysit my nephews that live very close to Olive Branch on Gen DeGaulle. So we frequent this establishment many times. The pizzas and calzones are delish. I love the citrus chicken wrap or salad. I have enjoyed the chicken and bacon ranch wrap as well. And the shrimp and corn bisque is totally worth a visit!! The food tastes fresh! And it's local! Plus they deliver!

A true New Orleans classic. You can get po-boys, gumbo, fried oysters, shrimp, red beans and rice (on a monday), or fried green tomatoes. Everything is made to order fresh right there. The kitchen is not behind closed doors. This is a very casual environment . And it should be. I don't recommend trying to dig into a muffuletta in your Sunday best. What's in it? It'd be easier to tell you what's NOT in it! Seriously though, the bread is delicious no matter what you put on it. And don't let a po-boy scare you. That's just what us folks call a submarine sandwich. If you don't have much time, and don't need anything too fancy, take the time for Di Martino's.
