While staying in Bedonia we have visited LaPieve three times. On every occasion the greeting, service and food has been outstanding! The pizza is great, with a veryThin crust and excellent topping combinations. It sounds so good, I think weâll return tonight.Ciao a tutti!

We recently had a wonderful stay at Villa Tre Angeli. One night we wandered off on our own and literally stumbled on La Pergola. The menu looked interesting and the dining room inviting. The young hostess Stefanie was very helpful and found us a bottle of very good red local wine at a reasonable price. Everything we ordered was outstanding. In fact one of our party liked it so much he ordered a second entree. Some of the highlights were veal cutlets with mushrooms and pepper, amazing eggplant parmesan, pasta etc.. There were many choices and everything was cooked to order. We asked to meet the chef Angela Bernieri and told her how much we loved her food.If you're ever in the area, try it.

"Refined flavors in an atmosphere hanging between the scent of the sea and the charm of the mountain." Two couples, four friends. Almost by chance, or perhaps by instinct, or maybe because of the positive vibrations that the place gave us - Something attr
We ate a wonderful lunch on the patio at Locanda Ferrari Cecchino starting with some very crispy and yummy bread pieces that went perfectly with the cheeses and salume, then tagliatelli al capriolo ed asparagi, and frito misto al Genovese that was done to a T.The service was friendly and timely, despite the restaurant being full. We will return any and every chance we get.

This is the place for a delicious steak, fabulous pansotti with salsa di nocce, and a panna cotta to die for. The building is an old mill that the owners have decorated in the most charming way. There are even geese that come down the small creek that is visible from the restaurant windows. The owner has a wine cellar that you can visit to choose your favorite vintage. If you order the steak, you will be shown several sizes and even the smallest is big. So you might want to share. It is cooked in a wood oven and the taste is amazing. The meal is a bit pricey, but I haven't found anything half as tasty.

We come here all the time when we visit Bedonia. The pizza is the best you can find. The staff are extremely friendly and cooperative. Outdoor seating is beautiful and perfect on a warm evening. This pizzeria is perfect for families as you can order pizzas as big as the table to share. You can keep adding to the bill on the table which is great. Definitely visit and you will not be let down

Compiano Castle houses a panigacceria and braceria where you can savour panigacci, a typical speciality of the Lunigiana area, which are highly digestible and can be savoured in their sweet or savoury versions. Originally a type of peasant flatbread , the
We recently had the pleasure of eating here while staying in the Castello; suffice it to say that we enjoyed it so much that we went back again. Matteo, our server, was super friendly, accommodating and helpful with our (at best) halting Italian. Daniel, the cook, is a wizard with grilled meats: we had the steak 'florentine', which was tasty, tender, and cooked to perfection. In addition, we tried the sliced beef marinated with balsamic vinegar . . . What a find! It was served UNDER a bed of shredded greens, and the combination was truly inspired. The second night, we had a fantastic pasta dish, with tuna, tomato and onion; it was light and wonderfully tasty. The panigacchio itself is delicious: it is a flat bread made between terra cotta discs, and is a specialty of the region. We love discovering local traditions like that, and recommend this restaurant very much.

The chef is an artist! We have been here many times, it is in fact the reason why we didn't stay last time in Val di Taro but in Bedonia. So we can eat at Speedy and then walk to our (bad) hotel.Whatever you chose: pizza or a normal dinner: it is tasty! The chef should come to Holland and teach Dutch pizzeria's how a pizza should really taste.
