AT OUR TRATTORIA...the food is traditional Italian. There is no menu, the service is casual and the price is fixed. Everyone is seated at the same table where five different courses are served. We begin dinner with an appetizer, followed by the first dish
I canât say one nice thing about our experience at LIFeSTYLE and Iâm stunned by all the positive ratings. We had a party of 8 and everyone was looking forward to the meal. The antipasto was a piece of old bread with butter and anchovies, another piece of bread with a tomato spread, a tuna cannelloni bean and onion salad and a piece of eggplant with store bought balsamic glaze. Nothing even remotely extraordinary. In between courses they tossed a basket of the easily day old bread on the table without butter, oil or anything to make it palatable. Second course was pasta with speck and arugula - not really. Mine was dry pasta and three small pieces of speck at the bottom of the bowl. Third course was shrimp and asparagus casserole that was pathetic. Iâm fine with simple food that is well executed, but this was neither. It seemed like they made a large pan of the dish - packed it into a small bowl and turned it upside down and dumped it on the plate. Fourth course was the best of the five, but it was three VERY small pieces of cheese with an accompaniment of jam, honey or almonds. Nothing special and something any amateur cook could have created. They didnât make the cheese, jam or almonds. I wonât criticize the bees - there honey was excellent. Fifth course was a slice of corn bread they moistened with orange juice. Nothing else. No whipped cream just a pathetic piece of corn bread. This course came with espresso which surprised me because espresso for 35 guests requires real planning and equipment. It was nothing more than stove top espresso and lukewarm at that. The servers seemed angry to be there and I could never recommend this to anyone. There are at least 10 better options in Bradford Springs. Hi,Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize that your recent experience at LIFeSTYLE was disappointing. I will be sharing your feedback with our management team. If you would, please email [email protected] so that we can discuss your visit further. I look forward to hearing from you soon! We make it a habit of checking out pizza shops on our way through towns. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The wait time was longer than normal. We got 3 subs and a salad. The salad was nothing special and for the price there wasnât enough chicken on it. I got the grilled chicken salad. The garlic bread was good although they forgot it and we had to drive 6 miles back to get it. The subs were good. Hot ham and cheese and roast beef both good. The grilled chicken was okay. The bread is homemade. Not sure if we would go back but we were happy with the subs. They need to step up their game with the salad though.
Home of the original XL NY Slice. Since 1956, Sbarro has been serving the XL NY Slice. Starting with made-daily hand stretched dough, San Marzano style sauce and topped with 100% Whole Milk Mozzarella cheese.
sometimes when you travel you want a quick snack or something easy to handle as you go down the road.... picking up a quick slice of pepperoni pizza at Sbarro's fits the bill. It actually tastes pretty good. Can't beat the convenience of not getting off of the turnpike either. Add a Steak n Shake shake or a Starbucks coffee with that and you are in business!
