La Kiuva is a cooperative company that brings together 50 members who mainly cultivated vineyards. It's composed by: - A restaurant - A winery - A center for the preparation of wild boar meat - A shop, where you can buy local wine.
We stopped on the way to the mont blanc tunnel just off the motorway. There was a traditional and local set lunch and we really enjoyed it. Service could have been faster but strongly recommend this restaurant.

This is a lovely family-run restaurant where they serve excellent food in a friendly atmosphere, The menu is small (hand-written in a little notebook), presumably because all the food is cooked to order, from scratch. The portions are generous, the food very tasty and the service is always with a smile. And it's very good value. A great little restaurant.

Trattoria con atmosfera accogliente a conduzione famigliare, di calda semplicità per gustare i sapori tipici della cucina casalinga e del territorio. Si consiglia la prenotazione,
Stopped whilst cycling through the Aosta Valley. Fantastic coffee, utterly amazing homemade gelato of various flavours!! Great stop and we'll recommended!!

While touring the castle, you will be able to get a decent sandwich or other small meal. Nothing special, but it is convenient and pleasant to sit in the courtyard. You place your order inside and they carry the food out to you. The fruit drinks were actually very good.

Was staying in the local Motorhome sosta and was going to walk to this restaurant after seeing the reviews. When I phoned we managed to understand each other (just) and they ended up delivering my probably one of the best (and biggest) pizza's ever. Topped with garlic, salami and peppers. Perfecto!! Couldn't recommend this place any better.

We were directed to this restaurant by the owner of a local B&B ( "Brezzalpina", an excellent address, by the way). We had expected only a pizzeria for a simple dinner, but we were very pleased to find that they had a substantial list of other dishes, which turned out to be well cooked and tasty, and very reasonably priced, with a number of local specialities. The meat was particularly tender , melt-in-the-mouth quality. Service was very friendly too.

Having been to this area a lot we decided to try something new and went to Lo Dzerby, mainly because of the positive reviews. The pictures online don't look very good, but that's Italy...But this place really doesn't deserve to get only 4 and 5 star reviews. The menu consists of typical dishes such as cottechino (boiled sausage), polenta concia (polenta with cheese), salignun (ricotta with herbs) and Zuppa Valdostana. But the level of the dishes is not up to par with many of the other places in the region. Actually, the Zuppa Valdostana was disgusting.I've been coming to this region for ten years now, last year we spend pretty much full time here and I love the local food. But only if cooked well and that's not the case here.Other than that the ambience isn't great. The area and the walk to the place are nice and probably you're better off eating at the fort 50 meters ahead.

Hidden in the old town of Donnas, this gem is a fantastic place to enjoy some authentic dishes from the Val d'Aosta. The owner is a nice and kind lady. She prepares everything from the starters to the desserts. Try the menu degustazione and do not miss the chocolate cake with mele renette and amaretti. Top!

This is a very quirky wine bar and restaurant. The seating is not conventional, as you sit on balconies, connected by industrial staircases. But it is an amazing place. The beer was good, the food even more so, and the owners were absolutely amazing.Cannot fault this place, and would definitely go again.

We had a good lunch in this beautifully renovated restaurant at the entrance of the village of Bard .The greeting was quick and in line with the character of the people who live in the mountains ....but the waitress ,probably foreigner was more chatty and kind .The lard from the nearby producer was served with elegance with a wonderful chestnut purée that breaks the saltiness of the lard . Perfectly cooked the soft boiled egg drowned in a tasty and light cheese fondue . Amazing pork fillet ,not too special the cabbage and cod fish sort of sushi which had no flavour and was served in a tiny portion .Good breads and good choice of wines .
