the riverside lounge is attached to the Mercure hotel. You can enjoy a sunny breakfast, quick lunch, long relax evening dinner or even go with a group and celebrate a birthday party. Excellent location in front of the Gradierwerk. Good food at descent prices.

We have been enjoying here the authentic Italian food many times. Friendly staff and good price for value! I like especially the pizzas, but the pasta and the Italian meat dishes (sometimes they even have fresh fish as indicated on a blackboard) are also okay.Be aware that the place is quite small and it may be crowded, so I recommend a reservation especially for the weekend.

Im Sommer bin ich ein regelmäÃiger Gast. Das Eis ist sehr gut und die Bedienung immer freundlich und nett. Schade finde ich, dass die Eisbecher nur in Plastikbechern serviert werden. Finde da könnte man 2018 etwas dran ändern.

Légèrement en retrait du centre ce bar brasserie est plutôt sympa, les bières et les panachés sont excellents....accueil sympathique service au bar pour La boisson.

Wir sind durch Zufall in diesem Lokal gelandet. Als wir gegen 18 Uhr in das Lokal kamen, wirkte dies dunkel und ungemütlich. Doch nach kurzer Zeit fühlten wir uns sehr wohl. Nettes Personal, guter Service und ausgezeichnetes Essen. Ich hatte eine Pizza Calzone mit Camembert. Ein Traum! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! P.S. Als wir gingen, war das Lokal sehr voll - der Geheimtipp hat sich anscheinend rum gesprochen

This resturant is right in the middle of the Friedelsheim village and it's being long overdue! Everyone wanted a delicious pizzaria/Italian restaurant in the village and for long time they had to go further away to get one. Since Don Camillo opened about a year ago, things changed. It is an exceptional small sit-down restaurant with delicious Italian food, mouth-watering pizzas, a big variety of salads and more and of ocurse, some very good German beer! If you are visiting the Weinstrasse area for some wine tasting or the nearby Wachtenburg castle in Wachenheim, then go and have some nice dinner at Don Camillo. A reservation is highly recommended, as it is small and very busy with locals. They also offer a take-away service. The chef, Nino and his staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Don Camillo opens every day [except Tuesdays] from 5pm until 11pm [or even later]. A highly recommended place for simply good food!!

Wir sind immer wieder und sehr gerne Gäste in diesem netten kleinen Lokal.Leckere Pizzagerichte und Pasta-Variationen in einer ehemaligen Tankstelle die zu einem kleinen Restaurant umgebaut ist. Supernettes Personal - eben italienisch und authentisch.Holservice klappt perfekt, nach telefonischer Bestellung wird recht exakt die Zeit bis zur Fertigstellung mitgeteilt. Darauf kann man sich verlassen. Favorit: Pizza Pedro oder Rigatoni al Forno. Die Nudelgerichte werden einzeln frisch hergestellt und im Ofen überbacken, so soll es sein. Frische Zutaten auch auf den Pizzen, gerade bei den Pilzen ist das entscheidend. Absolute Empfehlung sowohl zum Essen vor Ort als auch als Hol und Bringdienst.

After having dinner in German (Pfalz) style for a couple of nights (Saumagen, Bratwurst), this nice Italian restaurant is a very good alternative. They serve a more than decent Italian dinner and have a good wine list. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. If you want to get out of the Weinstube, this is a good place to go.

We arrived late in Bad Durkheim and there was a festival going on. Not sure what to expect we wandered around a little and took in the sights. It started raining and we were hungry so we dropped in here. Despite not having a reservation, they gave us a table outside and extended the shelter so we were out of the rain. The menu had a lot of choices. We both ordered the Jagerschnitzel - it was seriously fantastic! Great fun too watching everyone walking around. Definitely will repeat the visit.

Visited this restaurant for a casual dinner with my husband and baby. We left with very satisfied and well fed tummies! The handmade pasta was delicious, tasted very fresh and texture was very different from the instant variety which we are used to. We tried both the aglio olio and vongole sauce, both were wonderfully tasty. Pizza was good as well, the dough freshly kneaded and then baked in a traditional oven. However I would recommend every guest to try the top quality pasta instead of the pizza if visiting for the first time! Service was great - they split the pizza for us when we said we were sharing. Staff were friendly. Overall a great dining experience.
