2 cousins 1 passion - hospitality. Great fresh in house cooked pastas stemming from Italian recipes with a twist from Ben Harvey with his cousin Dominic BOREL leading the front of house operation - a perfect mix!
Not a negative on the whole place. From the service to the food, to the drink, not one thing is poor about this place. Friendly engaging welcome and clarifying a small but fresh menu. Food is of a very high standard. A great little place that is five star in all aspects

Moltobueno has been recommended to us by a friend who lives in Bristol. We visited on a Saturday lunchtime before a birthday treat trip to the theatre. We were the first customers of the day and were given a warm, friendly welcome by the staff. We had pizza and pasta dishes which were all beautifully cooked and served. All our food was absolutely delicious; my pizza was the best Iâve had in a restaurant. The prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend for lunch & will definitely be hoping to make another visit to Moltobueno in the future.

We are a small family ran fresh stuffed pasta restaurant bringing a modern twist of classic recipes using local & international seasonal produce. We have a small & concise wine & cocktail list. Our big sister is Pasta Loco also in Bristol.
This restaurant is worth going out of your way ... unique atmosphere - small but not stifling. Must make reservations. Fascinating to see the chefs at work, making the dishes right in front of you.

We first visited Antonioâs 30 years ago when it first opened its doors. In those days Portishead had precious few competitor restaurants now the town is stuffed full of âplasticâ pubs and equally âplasticâ chain type restaurants yet Antonio is still here. This says it all about the quality of Antonioâs real food. Nowadays we live in Spain but on a rare visit we had to visit Antonio and were delighted to see our favourite dishes from 30 years ago still on the menu, Chicken Sofia for my wife and Penne Vongole for me. We were disappointed only by the wine and felt that we had paid too much at £32 for Antonioâs own red wine choice but what the hell, it was great to be back one last time!

Our passion for food stems from our heritage and homeland Sorrento, Italy. This small town along the costal line of the Amalfi is notoriously known for its mouth-watering dishes. After living and working in Sorrento for many years we are proud to share ou
Nicely situated dockside of the Marina, a pleasant restaurant with welcoming staff and pleasing surroundings. All it lacks is a competent chef! The quality of food offered was reminiscent of "boil in the bag" days. Nothing wrong with it - three different meals all appeared to have the same or very similar sauce on them - but very over-priced for the quality of food served. The wine least was equally over-priced, especially at the upper end. Not a repeat one for us.

With over 30 years of history, Il Giardino is an Italian restaurant that serves good honest food, sourced from local suppliers. Throw in the virtues of traditional service, and these are the values which underpin this family-run restaurant's ethos.
Whenever we dine at this family run restaurant we are greeted like old friends by the father and son double act. To avoid disappointment we recommend booking a table, taking your apperative in the glazed lobby overlooking the pier, and then settling down to a delicious lunch or dinner.

First time with friends and the service was poor which was blamed on just opening , food ok. Second time kept waiting for 45 mins even though booked a table , so walked out .Tried again with another friend who wanted to try it and knowing my friends hearing is not good drove to the restaurant to book and spoke to staff requesting a table for two not in the middle of the restaurant. Turned up for the meal and we were sat in the middle! I explained that I had pacifically asked not to be seated in this area and they denied all knowledge of this and given a free sweet .So tried again this weekend with a different friend it was very busy and we waited 45 mins for our starter which never arrived just our main , obviously we told them and they offered to do the starters but we were hungry by then and just had the main which was ok . Got a free coffee .Such a shame as it very close to me but feel they need to address communication with each other and more chefs.

This is just an ordinary neighbourhood "Italian" restaurant. Not "authentic" as there is no veal on the menu.I started with the bianchetti - totally normal.I ordered the pollo pizzaiolo for main and heard it being flattened when I was halfway in my starter (a good sign). It was also just as I expected, with a small selection of bland veg. That, with a glass of red, came to £12.95 plus tip.It won't get any Michellin stars but I would happily eat there again.
