This place is terrible!! The staff SUCK..The staff think they're doing you a favor waiting on you, which was my unfortunate experience...The children who are working at this restaurant have the typical attitude that kids today think they're entitled. Someone however forgot to tell them they're waiters, waitresses and cooks...So until you find a real job I say to the staff and the management at this establishment to review their attitude and quit treating patrons like we are doing you a favor. Take my word that this place sucks. The food is overrated, overpriced and overcooked and the staff is beyond RUDE!!Show less

Meet a friend for lunch and was happy to sit on their patio. Was sad to see a bunch of ashtrays and one w/ an almost full cig snuffed out - probably a waitresses' but, what can you do. Our waitress was a real doll - attended us well and was very personable. The place attracts quite a few day time drinkers - the bar was pretty full around lunch time. My friends dish - chicken marsala was rockin! My chicken dish was ok - the greens were masked by the alfredo type sauce - would pick something different next time. Oil for bread dipping was tasteless - I added some cheese and salt - but, maybe they should make flavored oil or get a flavored buttered - something?
We tried to eat here instead of Salvatores (which is immediately adjacent) because it was recommended by our motel guy and we hadn't had a chance to look at TripAdvisor but we were thwarted because Chad Anthony's was closed during the dinner hour on Monday, October 2, 2017, and it looked more than just closed for that night--the outside looked positively abandoned with weeds growing and the place looking like places do when they're abandoned. The outside and grounds did not give a thriving appearance to say the least.

I have had two special events at Tavola - my wedding (ceremony and reception) and, most recently, my father's 70th birthday. Tammy did an incredible job with the planning and John's cooking is amazing. Dad's birthday was exactly what we wanted - a memorable event for our family. Tammy and John organized a 5-course meal with wine pairings and every course was delicious. The wine was superb. This is the perfect place to have a special event.

One of my favorites in the Youngstown area. You gotta try their pepperoni rolls. The pepperoni rolls are one of the best values around for a quick lunch or dinner. Try the Super Sampler....a whole sheet pizza topped 6 different ways. Where else are you gonna get that??? It's a pizza buffet in a box!!!Very clean. Friendly employees. Good value. Locally owned...why get pizza from a chain restaurant when their is a great local choice like this that uses fresh ingredients.

May Have A Youngstown Ohio Address
Based on rave reviews from locals, 20 of us gave only a 2 hours notice dinner reservation. Not only was the staff gracious, but service was impeccible! The food was generous and absolutely delicious! The menu accommodated a wide range of tastes and even the gluten-free folks found heavenly options. Just added them to my favorites and am interested in their catering. Definitely recommend them to everyone!

Always eat there the last night we are in Austintown. We have enough leftover for two more meals. I am not the biggest fan of Italian food, but my wife is. However, I enjoy going back and am always happy with my meal.

In 1967, Pasquate âPatsyâ Acconcia operated a pizza shop in Youngstown. When he decided to make the move to the present Austintown location he took on a partner, Fernando Riccioni. For the next 20 years Fernando and Patsy worked daily to develop the recip
We went to this pizza place owned by a 93 year old Italian gentleman named Fernando on Sunday. I ordered the Original but my other friends ordered different ones. You would not believe how many choices you have. All the people who work there are so friendly. The prices are very reasonable and even though I live 45 minutes away, I will be back! Cash only though there is an ATM to use if needed!
