Late evening dinner. Ordered Cesar salad, Steak with Red wine sauce and a plate of Momos. Nice salad with juicy chicken. Soft tender steak with good tasting sauce and perfect French fries. The momos was not like Delhi style momos, but stil nice tasting. All topped up with very friendly staff that made you feel more than welcome.

Open late, and free delivery to the area, in first village on main road into Auroville, signposted off main road. Try the Indian pizza, which has paneer, spinch and spices.

One of the best pizza I ever had. The restaurant atmosphere is different & you love it bcz it's near by harvesting land. They prepare in fire wood stove & natural way it's authentic.

Having a meal here is a must for you to feel what Auroville is all about. Visitors have to pay through and Auro card or take token from the guest centre located on the first floor of the same building. It is a community eating centre. Lunch time for visitors is after 12;45pm and the place is shut down by 1:30pm. It is vegetarian fare served in buffet style. Can get very busy.

Brothers offer the best pizza in Auroville, thin pastry and tasty adds on. The ambience have a great potential to be better. Service is a little bit slow but the staff is kind and smily. The most important is the taste of pizza. It’s just delicious! Must visit and try!

Nice cool new cafe on canal road between White Town and Black Town, towards the Muslim quarter, this cafe is not far from the heritage areas, and close to Cazy Street - worth checking out - and I like this cafe for the best cafe I've had in Pondicherry. Clean, stylish, modern, with a large menu including salads, international cuisine and local dishes, this has a hip bike theme, and friendly staff. Prices reasonable, and you can sit and look out at the world go by.

I had recently visited veganza cafe few days agi for my vegan lunch.I found it very friendly service and nice atmosphere here. I had veggie patty and chocolate ice cream was so delicious.I will definitely coming again here.nice menu and 100 % Vegan Love it

It's very difficult to find Gelato made with so much rafinesse and perfection - even in Italy. Pistacchio Gelato and Torronata are my special recommendations. It's a bright and very transparent place with a nice roof top terrace. The gelatai are very kind hosts and masters of their subject!

Did my study on good wood for pizza restaurant near at pondy... Tanto was listed as one of the best so decided to visit. Since we wanted to go slow, decided to pack to the resort. Ordered the following:4 cheese pizza - superb, very cheesy and tasty. Even packed one side but make it stretchSpicy veg - had good amount of veggies and not very spicy. Right amount of hot was there. one of the tastiest I have ever had.
