Casa Cosmana Navarra is a traditional Maltese. Is a 17th-century townhouse in the suburb of Mdina, building belonged to Cosmana Navarra (1600-1687), who was the main benefactress of the rebuilding of the Rabat parish church of St. Paul. The house is found
This restaurant is in a beautiful building, and was recommended to us by a woman selling her amazing pastries obliquely opposite. We were not disappointed. We were served by a young man from Philippines, who was extraordinarily attentive, service oriented and told me about the history of the building and the woman who owned it. I ordered the special and my boyfriend had a pizza with pistachio cream and salmon. Both were amazing. The food is excellent, the service is wonderful, and I highly recommend both the food here and the pastry shop across the street for extras to take away!!

Dine in truly romantic surroundings beneath the flowering Oleander tree in the vine-clustered courtyard during the summer, and by candle-light and an open log fireplace that keeps the restaurant warm during the winter months. The Medina presents a selecte
My pilgrimage to Malta would never be the same without my date at this place. An evening stroll through the gently lit streets of this beautiful mini-city followed by walking into this historical restaurant, glass roofed, intimate and charming. The menu is well stocked with local specialities of course including rabbit and extensive local wine list. I had a light dinner as it was my last night in the country. Only foody criticism I should offer is the fruit gels in the ice cream...hmmm(?) All was super although getting the right member of staff to serve you is important otherwise its a little agitating....I'll be back, as someone slightly more famous than I once said......Thank you for taking your time to post a review on TripAdvisorWe are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your last night in Malta in our restaurant!Your kind words have been warmly received and we hope to have the pleasure of seeing you again very soon! Many thanks and kind regards.

Perched on top of Madliena, surrounded by lush greenery and commanding excellent north-western coastal views, Madliena Lodge is truly one of a kind. Keeping the 18th-century architecture and more so amplifying the features which are nowadays pretty scarce
We were served delicious food by well mannered staff in a perfectly set terrace with live singing. Adding to this there is ample parking for diners. Indoor ambience is perfect for cosy winter lunches and dinners as well. Will surely recommend and visit again.Hi Marieneve, many thanks for such a lovely review. Your comments help us strive forward and further build our business. We look forward to having you again with us soon enough. Regards.

Pitiful food service and meal. Waited about 30 minutes to place our order, another 40 minutes to receive our single main course of chicken with mango. It was small and bland. We only ordered a single dish because the pork was sold out and the 2 other choices were beef. We were 2 of the last 4 people seated at the time and should have been advised of the unavailable dish. We were waiting at the outside picnic style table for an inside dining table but had to come inside and ask to share a table because the adjoining restaurant dumped 3 bags of stinking garbage on the bench next to our table. We told the staff at the end of the meal that the mango had no flavour at all. She said yes, it was a poor or bad tasting mango. I said it should therefore be taken off the menu. She then argued that I should have complained during the meal to get an alternative. Alternative to what, given there was a choice of 4 main courses with one down.

Easy to miss in the winter months as it's quite small and not open until 19:30. Really glad we found this small venue.Operating from a rotating blackboard menu, the food was great and "local". Service was attentive, the host was well trained and delivered a smooth service.Vegetarian friendly with a few interesting options to choose from.

Restaurants live by recommendation and they want feedback from their customers so they can correct things, make them happy and hope they will spread the word for them. The criticism on Trip Advisor was in general positive, reason why I went ahead with my grandson to La Siciliana in Mdina Road, Attard. Sifting through their website they portray themselves as Pizzaioli from as early as 1970. In fact, the menu displays a large variety of Pizzas, some gluten-free or lactose-free. They also serve Schiacciate a type of flatbread made with flour, water, yeast, salt, and olive oil. Schiacciata literally means âsquashedâ (in a way similar to our Maltese ftira). These are filled either with pulled pork, chicken, parma ham or salmon. Pasta is also available. However, grandson did not fancy any Pizza or Pasta so we opted for a selection of 3 types of meat⦠Grigliata di Carne having one piece of horse meat, beef, and chicken. The meat was slightly overcooked but chewable however overpriced at â¬27 considering the quality of meat on offer. Another plate we shared was Grilled Calamari and Prawns. The calamari was not fresh and so they missed that seawater freshness. Prawns were OK. Both plates were served with a layer of fresh salad and fine chips on the side.Total bill came to â¬66 tips inclusive. The bill incorporated one Focaccia Caprese that we had as a starter, two sweets for dessert and two bottles of water. One espresso was graciously offered for free. Service was acceptable and accommodating if you know English or Italian.

We are here once again at Ristorante Adelina having dinner and we chose to have crispy fried calamari and seafood risotto complemented with a Sicilian glass of wine and of course delicious Sicilian cannoli. Everything so mouthwatering and freshly prepared mmmmmm what more can you ask for? Complimenti chef, a presto!

We were a group of four and ordered 4 dishes - rack of ribs, fish and two pasta dishes. All were expertly cooked and with very friendly service and advice from the waiter. For dessert the cook came out with a selection tray which he said were all home made. We tried the baileys mousse which was excellent. He also gave us a complementary glass cherry wine with the coffee. The prices are very reasonable, came to just over â¬100 for 4 people. The restaurant is unassuming and unpretentious, but friendly and with genuinely good food and excellent value for money. The only problem we had was car parking. This was our third visit and there will be many more for sure.

This place is great. It was recommended to us by our hotel and didnât disappoint. The menu has lots of choice including an utterly fantastic cheeseburger wrap. My hubby had a steak and it was cooked perfectly. Thereâs a very good wine list and a good range of beers/spirits. We had cherry ice cream for dessert and it was superb. The staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. Iâll definitely be back
