The restaurant is located on the hillside in the municipality of Pineto, in the locality of Mutignano. The small town itself is nothing special, but there's a nice view all around.Bacucco d'Oro offers typical regional cuisine from the area of Teramo, with dishes cooked with great passion and somehow a "philological" intent to rebuild the local tradition, with great attention to seasonal products. For this reason, you cannot expect to find everyting everytime... an neither light meals, anyway!Though, local people will be surprised by the precision that turns memory into actual dishes, and the visitor by a rich variety of not so used but delicious dishes.Good choice of local wines. Just, desserts could be improved.

I have been in Atri for one night and i met Tosto, a small, nice restaurant near the center, in a small and romantic street 2 minutes away from the main Church.Tosto is a particular restaurant where you can taste italian traditional cousine with innovation in a perfect mix of flavours. My favourite plate was the homemade lamb hamburger.. strongly advisable.5 Stars.

An Italian friend took us to this restaurant last summer, we had a lovely evening so decided to visit it again this year. This was made more difficult because we couldn't remember the name, only the approximate location; a note to the unwary, the sign for the restaurant is not visible coming from the direction of Silvi, but after asking a guy in the street, we found it.The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the location is lovely, with the options to eat indoors, or under cover of a solid roof, or indeed outside. It is generally cooler in Atri, so the option to eat outside, but sheltered is nice. The thing that drew us back to the restaurant is the wonderful sharing platter. Offering a selection of hot and cold dishes, it is a generous portion (we ordered for 2 but it was easily enough for 3 or more). They also do excellent 'arrosticini' ...... mini kebabs of bbq lamb, and unusually they also offered chicken arrosticini which were also lovely.Even on a weekday evening this restaurant was busy with locals, always a sign of a good restaurant.

I found Castellum Vetus Vinaria by pure coincidence since I love to cycle through the county of Teramo including Casoli, which belongs to the city of Atri. What a find! Turns out that the owner and pizzaiolo Simone Pomante just won 3rd place in the World Pizza Contest in Rimini (Emilia Romagna, Italy) early 2015. However not only his pizzas are excellent and very creatively composed, but also the home made pasta or the antipasti are a dream! We had home made ravioli with a ricotta filling and fresh tomato sauce. The serving for two had been plenty so that we were only able to share a pizza together: "Borgo Nuovo" with bacon, Gorgonzola cheese, tartufo, mozzarella and a sunny side up egg in the middle. Delicious!! Last time we had the pizza Simone won his 3rd place with: Pizza Del Casale Patate with potato, pecorino cheese from Farindola (Abruzzo), sausage and scamorza (air dried mozzarella cheese). To die for... :-)Simone, his mother and his staff are very courteous and it is a pleasure to visit them every time!

Super restaurant in the corner of the square opposite the cathedral. If you come in August I recommend booking a table if you are in a group. We are very well - antipasto, arrosticini and an amazing selection of pizzas. Each pizza has a recommended beer to drink and the pairings were good. Very reasonably priced and good service.

Se la pizza non fosse buona avrei lasciato 2 stelle ... gli arrosticini di fegato non erano niente di eccezionale... siamo in Abruzzo .....

Ate lunch there twice in 2 days and loved every mouthful ...One review described the food as basic ... hmmm that may be true to a point ... but if you like real food that is fresh, and delicious you have found the right place ... I was travelling with another Italian from Parma ... yes cheese and ham etc ...who loves his food and he also raved about the food ... so I don't think I am out of line in recommending this place ... afterwards do yourself a favour and spend some time exploring the most wonderful village you will find in a long time! :)

If you want authentic abruzzesi fare you can't go wrong with this little gem! The antipasti are delicious and the assorted roast meats platter was tasty. The arrosticini are also very good for a restaurant so close to the seascape towns. The service was great and the price as well. The house white was delicious as well as the panna cotta for dessert; you won't be disappointed in this family friendly restaurant!

The Villa Michelangelo Restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine with fish and meat dishes using local product.
