I don't go here anywhere near often enough. They close at 9pm, and I don't get home from work until 10:30. I was off work yesterday and went and picked up a sausage one. I said Capo's was the best pizza around here, butt it's really more of a 2-way tie I think. This is some really good pizza. My favorites are the deluxe, or jus' sausage, or jus' pineapple. I pick from those 3 as the best. They have subs and salads too but I don't think I've never tried them. They don't offer delivery, and neither does Capo's. Sooo I guess ya hafta get out ta get the best pizzas around here... lol... There's no dining in, it's take out only, same with Capos'...

Any pizza shop that doesn't deliver must have good pizza or they wouldn't stay in business for very long and Capo's has been around for many years. Pizza at the Ashtabula location isn't quite as good as the pizza at the original Geneva locations despite using the same ingredients. But it's still good and I often order Capos for lunch because it's close to where I work and easy to pick up. "Grinders" are hot sub sandwiches which are a favorite with my co-workers. And the deep fried zucchini is another office favorite. This is a take-out shop only. There's no place to sit inside and they don't deliver. The parking lot is as tiny as the shop but I've never had an issue getting one of the few parking spaces.
Fitzgerald's Wine Bar~Restaurant~Shop A culinary experience with Wine and Cuisine from around the world! Amazing Cocktails, hand selected local and international beer and wines.
I like that you can eat upstairs or downstairs. I am confused on their wine offerings. You see so many bottles of wine on the wall but if you choose one it is not often cooled. The list that is on the table needs a few more choices by the glass and needs a less expensive house wine for those who are not wine drinkers. The food choices are great. All of our meals here have been delicious except they do not like cooking salmon well. Many people like it well so they will have to learn how to do it. The desserts are fabulous! Every place has room for improvement and I would suggest stepping up their service especially on the wine. If we have our wine we do not mind waiting. We will be back.We are constantly working towards providing the best experience for our guests. Thank you for your comments. Hope you can visit us soon.

We stopped on a late Sunday afternoon. Restaurants was about 1/4 filled with people. Most of the empty tables were filled with the dishes of previous customers. We had to look around for a clean table. Waitress was pleasant , but we wondered if she had a clue. Ordered a chef salad and a small pizza. Waited a while then got salad only... Had to ask for crackers and a knife. Finally flagged someone down and asked where the pizza was. Was told it should be coming up, but the waitress said she could not speak on how long it would take. Pizza was ok, average rather bland taste, with pepperoni that did not add much. Salad was also nothing special, rather plain, but adequate. Not a lot right in this area. Might stop again (only for ease of location) but probably will not make any special effort to go again.

Being from Ashtabula but living in Florida ,this is the place I always visit when I return home. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, cheap eats. Wish we had a place like this where I live. Local hangout, family place. If your in the area put it on your list

We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch in March. Since it wasn't tourist season, we had no difficulty in securing a table here. We ordered spaghetti & meatballs and were surprised that a salad came with the meal. The tomatoes looked like fresh, summer tomatoes instead of the pale greenhouse one usually gets at this time of the year. The spaghetti noodles were homemade and delicious. The server took good care of us and didn't "push us out the door". We would go there again when in the area.

A family owned and operated local business. Our goal is to serve you homemade food made with the best and most fresh ingredients possible.
We ate here twice last summer. They unfortuanletly were closed when we were in Ashtabula for the 4th of July. A friend of mine who has a summer place on the lake raved about this pizza and when we were in for the Beach Glass Festival I ate here for the first time. Everything we had was SO good. Loved their homemade crust just a really amazing flavor! The second time I went back and took my family when we were up there to visit the beach for a day. We grabbed dinner before heading home and though they were slammed and we had to wait a while everything was yummy and we munched on the salad bar, which we enjoyed as well. If you're in town definitely stop here and try some nice hot pizza! It will not disappoint!

What a charming family owned place! It was our first time here and obviously a local favorite based on the crowd showing up to wait after we got in line. Delicious fresh made food and very friendly. I had the eggplant Parmesan and my husband had the veal Parmesan, both of which were delicious, and steaming hot ion arrival. Loved their sauce. Will definitely come back again! Give it a try when you want some terrific Italian food!
