Gave their pizza another try and again, somewhat disappointed with the amount of extra cheese considering what they charge you for toppings. The pizza itself is good, and really like their crust, just wish their was more consistency with topping. We also had an order of regular medium wings, which were delicious. They had just enough kick for medium wings, that makes you want to head back for more.

We stopped by and ordered a pizza to take home as we've heard several folks tell us it's their favorite pizza in Altoona. Got it home and it was okay, but there's much better in Altoona. Maybe had we ate there when it was hot and fresh, but at home it was somewhat soggy and didn't reheat well.May stop in for lasagna or another dish to see how it travels, but wouldn't return for the pizza.

We went to dinner with another local couple, at their suggestion. The staff was wonderful. It is not a formal place, but they are very friendly and professional. The food was excellent with good size portions. Everything was well prepared and very fresh. They do not sell any alcohol, but they are BYOB.

Serving fine dining Italian cuisine since 1978! We've got the best recipes for good times - anytime. With homemade Italian specialties sure to please every appetite... fresh seafood, veal, steaks, homemade pasta, chicken, and more. Early dinner for two sp
We always enjoy our visits to the Allegro. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is old world Italian, tastefully done and pleasant. The food is excellent. This time I had grilled salmon over salad greens. The salmon was grilled to perfection and was huge. I'll ruin the surprise by telling you that all dinners come with a complimentary plate of miniature meatballs in red sauce, a delicious appetizer on the house. These are served for enjoyment while the meal is being prepared. There is ample free parking in a quiet neighborhood, far from the hustle and bustle. Some save this place for special occasions; others make it a regular dining spot. Whichever you do, I think you will enjoy this above-average Italian restaurant. Open evenings from 5 pm; open for lunch only on Fridays.

A fantastic choice for a meal. Husband and I were looking for something local while in the area and stumbled upon this little gem. Family owned/run, it's friendly and welcoming with an awesome atmosphere and great staff. Generous portions, great Italian cuisine, and reasonable priced. Would definitely return here when in the area. Highly recommend!!

Once again we tried Lenaâs Cafe for a birthday celebratory dinner tonight. I went in with an open mind seeing the last two times I had eaten there, I was pretty disappointed. The first time I went there two years ago, I ordered chicken Parmesan. Honestly it tasted like veal and I even questioned my server and she assured me that it was in fact the chicken. The last time I went there, I tried a grilled chicken salad just for something different. It was ok; nothing special and left pretty hungry. Tonight I thought Iâd give the chicken Parmesan another try seeing itâs one on my favorite dishes. Once again I wasnât sure what neat I was eating and the side of pasta was just ok. Three other family members ordered the traditional spaghetti and meatballs which Lenaâs is known for and they couldnât have been more pleased with their meals. Our last family member ordered breaded veal with a side of rigatoni tonight. The veal was so tough, she had ask for a steak knife as it resembled shoe leather as she tried to eat it. She was embarrassed to send it back and she left hungry as well tonight. If you take anything from this review, my advice is go to Olive Garden or just stick to pasta there.

Have been to Olive Garden's in different locations and have almost always been pleased. This location is certainly one of the best that we have ever been to. The service by Spencer was certainly exceptional. He was very attentive and knowledgeable, showing great courtesy. The food was wonderful and very generous portions. I had the soup and it was certainly the hotest temperature ever - usually I receive barely warm soup - this was a real pleasure. My wife and son had the salad with their meals and both reported it to be the best ever at an Olive Garden. Entrees were served hot and at the proper time interval. Very clean interior and restrooms. Convenient parking. Will certainly return and fully recommend this location.

I ordered the fish tacos, and had the choice of baked, blackened or fried. Not wanting the calories or the spices, I ordered baked which was pretty flavorless. It was also strange that they added feta cheese, but it worked. My husband had the Chicken Parmesan which was tasty and came with spaghetti. I regretted not having the pizza or something that the establishment is known for as we watched the food being delivered to other tables. The place is large enough that we had no wait, the service was attentive, and the parking ample. Next time its beer and pizza.

In early August, Finelli's catered the food for our Italian family reunion in Duncansville. The food was very good and very authentic. The servers were very kind and helpful. Mrs. Finelli even came to our event to help out. It was a wonderful experience. We plan to go to their restaurant in Altoona, the next time we are in the area.
