This is a take-out special call to order or online. I ordered online taking advantage of a really good special of 2 extra large 2 toppings for $20 + tax.Have ordered numerous times from this particular pizza place & every time I set a pickup time in advance. The pizza is always fresh out of the oven on time & lives up to the standards of a Papa's franchise. Thanks!! Always good to hear!
I was surprised there weren't any trip advisor reviews for this restaurant so decided to provide one since I have been going to this restaurant for many years. It's a small clean space with tables (no booths) and mainly does sandwiches but does offer a full dining menu featuring Italian favorites. Featuring hoagies and oven grinders, all the food is well prepared and fresh. Service can be a bit dicey since there is usually only one waitress and the kitchen cooks to order so don't be in a hurry. Others who have gone with me have had the other sandwiches and been happy but I can't bring myself to order anything other than the fabulous philly cheese steak sandwich. You can have it with different combinations but my go to order is with mayo, mushrooms, sauteed onions and mild banana peppers. The bread is soft and perfect to hold all the meat and toppings and the melted cheese finishes it off. Best philly cheese steak I've ever eaten and I've eaten them all over the country. It comes with potato chips but splurge a bit and have the waffle or curly fries. Would not recommend ordering a coke or diet coke unless you are fine with a couple of swallows...comes in tiny bottles and no refills. Root beer in a mug is good though and so is the iced tea. They also have beer battered onion rings and mushrooms that I have had as appetizers and they are also excellent. If you are in the area I would definitely give this place a try.

We last visited this restaurant on a Sunday for lunch; have been there 3 times before. Our meals consisted of sausage spaghetti and lasagna, which was quite tasty, satisfying, and the servings were plentiful. The building is old, but is clean, and it had plenty of windows across the front to allow a view of the outdoors. The service was excellent; the waitress gave us plenty of attention! It was a quiet lunch with good service and food, and a fair price! We will return!

Staff were very friendly, especially Mary our server whilst there. Found the food to be average, Lasagne was a bit dry and not much taste to it, my wife had the Spicy Shrimp which she said was very nice though. We went early on a Sunday evening at it was pretty quiet there so seems a good time to goWill give it a second try at some point with another meal there as the menu had a big selection.

We visited with family while in Alex. Had never been before but would definitely return. There product is fresh, not from the freezer. They do need to serve regular spaghetti noodles.

There was so much meat on this Gyro I was surprised. The seasoning used made this sandwich so tasty unlike other gyros I have had in the past. The owners are very friendly and I noticed many of the customers are repeats and locals. The outside appearance to me is a little deceiving when compare to how good the food is inside. Another place in Alexandria that I have visited 2x and their will be a 3rd before I head out of town.

Fusion-style inspired by artisan cuisine, located in the heart of Downtown Alexandria on Desoto Street. Offering innovative pizzas, pastas and salads. Great selection of craft beer and one of the best wine lists in Central Louisiana! LIVE Music on Friday
I had a delicious wienerSchnitzel and fries that did not disappoint. The server was knowledgeable and did a very good job of steering me in the right direction.

We've eaten at Verona Restaurant for years but it has now reached its highest level of quality ever. The owner Tony has combined his authentic family recipes from Sicily and his superior chef skills in the kitchen with his friendliest and most skilled wait staff yet. (Jason was fabulous.) Verona's on our recent visit earned all 5 of the stars we awarded. Marie and Floyd
