family-run establishment set in a beautiful natural environment .... In full Gallura restaurant with adjoining small hotel it is in a central position about 30 minutes drive from the most 'beautiful beaches of northern Sardinia !! It offers a cuisine most
They have a choice of cold and hot seafood starters which is fantastic.
With Lu Gaffè, it doesnât matter if you fancy a cocktail or a glass of wine for an aperitivo before dinner or a nice coffee and a pastry for breakfast. There is something for everyone at any time of the day. The gin and tonics are a break from the norm and are fantastic but also a great selection of wines as well as a great range of snacks and paninis. The staff look after you well, nothing is too much trouble and extremely friendly. Well worth a visit.

When you have had enough Sauce Maltaise and Magrets de Canard, you may reach the point where you long for that honest-to-god, grand-mother prepared meal, where no surprise awaits you, but a reawakening of the simple pleasures of your youth, in your discovery of gastronomy.La Gallurese fits the bill perfectly. The owner greeted us by mentioning his wild boar in Cannonau and olives (duly ordered): perfectly cooked and wed to a magically compatible side of beans and onions. Of course, house wine.

Grazie e ci vediamo presto

We loved Al Vecchio Corso so much that we ate there twice. A nice location on via Roma just on the outskirts of Piazza Gallura, the restaurant is cozy. Consisting of several small rooms that only sit a few tables each, the dining experience is intimate. The staff were incredible, making great suggestions on dishes and wine selections. The potato flan was otherworldly good. The curlugiones were the best I had in Sardegna, soft and covered with smoked ricotta. And did I mention the wine? Great selection. We are both vegetarians and had absolutely no challenges eating here. If you are ever in Tempio P or any nearby town for that matter, please visit Al Vecchio Corso and thank me later.

This was highly recommended in our rough guide and so we went out of our way to go here. We weren't disappointed overall and had a delicious dinner. The place itself is pretty authentically rustic I think which old photos on the wall and agricultural paraphanelia dotted around the place. It is certainly better when others turn up and create a bit of atmosphere, at which point you can all look at each other and roll your eyes when more and more food comes out. You don't order; they just bring you what they've got, and apparently they usually have quite a lot as you certainly don't go hungry in this place. The food is top-notch and is classic agri-turismo so a good way of tasting authentic local food and very drinkable local wine.We thought this lived up to its excellent reputation.

Situated next door to the Nuraghe Majori we stopped here on impulse for lunch. Very beautiful setting with lots of ceiling fans and also a small play area for the kids made it a very enjoyable lunchtime. A few local cats were around too which amused the kids.We had the meat and cheese platters (around â¬11 to â¬15 depending on what you had). My husband also had a plate of home-cooked meats which he couldn't finish as there was simply so much of it. We also had a jug of the local white wine. The children had the local pasta which they quickly polished off.Very good indeed.

Cosy friendly atmosphere. Lovely restaurant in this quaint and pittoresque mountain village Aggius. Very friendly staff. But most importantly the pizza's are overwhelmingly nice. Beautifully prepared with the finest ingredients. The local deserts are heavenly. Even the house wine is superb. We will be visiting again soon.

We stopped in for an early dinner at Il Mosto at the recommendation of our B&B host. We were immediately impressed with the friendly service of all the staff that attended us. They helped us choose a perfect wine and answered our questions about the menu. We tried two very unique dishes, plus appetizer, dessert, etc. We were very happy with everything! We didn't reserve a table outside, but if I were to return, I'd do it! Perfect location for a quiet dinner.
