Having been visiting Aegina on holiday for 3 years and loving the Greek food, this find was a real gem. It's different to the usual Greek tavernas and offers a truly unique experience. The local wine is fine. Most restaurants and bars sell perfectly acceptable wines but this place sells exceptional wines. The owner is very knowledgeable and doesn't try to bamboozle you into buying stuff but explains the good wine distribution in Greece and its islands. We drank a white from Santorini which was excellent. Food/snacks available and super friendly service. Great coffee too.well worth a visit
A nice surprise in Aegina. Recommended by locals it serves nice Italian style pizza and pasta. Centrally located reasonably priced. Try the rocket and prosciutto pizza.
I have been visiting Aegina for almost 20 years. The best pizza on the island is Pizza Giotas. The owner and staff are friendly and even though I don't speak Greek - we always find a way to communicate. They are also open late night and nothing hits the spot like a slice of pizza @ 3AM.

The food was fresh, extremely tasty and nicely served. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options of which we couldn't get enough. Both the Greek and the Italian food was great. The owners were very friendly and helpful in picking and combining the dishes. Especially, don't forget to try their home made lemonade and tasty pies.
