The town is also the capital of the district of Aarau. It is German-speaking and predominantly Protestant. Aarau is situated on the Swiss plateau, in the valley of the Aare, on the river's right bank, and at the southern foot of the Jura Mountains, and is west of Zürich, and 65 kilometres (40 mi) northeast of Bern. The municipality borders directly on the canton of Solothurn to the west. It is the second-largest town in Aargau after Wettingen. At the beginning of 2010 Rohr became a suburb of Aarau.

Wegen dem Ambiente, muss man nicht ins Comitato Cittadino. Falls jemand von Euch ein romantisches Dinner plant - hier ist man mit schönen Kleidern und Kerzenlicht leider am falschen Platz =) ABERSolltet ihr auf der Suche nach frischer, hausgemachter, und feiner Pasta sein --> dann müsst Ihr unbedingt hierhin! Ich als Italienerin die für's Leben gerne kocht und alles selbst zubereitet, kann mit gutem Gewissen sagen: Ja die Pasta ist sehr sehr gut! Das Fleisch auf dem heissen Stein ist ebenfalls einwandfrei. =)

I ate a midweek lunch here, as part of a large group all of whom ordered à la carte. Service was a bit glum at the start, but became friendlier. I choose seafood salad (squid, octopus and shrimp with rocket) followed by sea-bass with prawns and polenta, all very good except the sauce which was rather too heavy. Including three beers and a coffee, the meal cost CHF 70.

We were exploring Aarau and needed somewhere for lunch. A waitress asked if we wanted lunch and when we said yes, she asked several gentlemen to budge up to make room for us at the pavement tables. My wife and daughter both had the burger special deal: burger, fries, salad, and a 5 DL soft drink, all for 19,90. When I saw my favourite Schweinschnitzel with pommes frites on the menu, I couldn't say no. A large beer on a hot late spring afternoon made my meal complete. The service was great with the staff friendly and welcoming.Hello! We thank you for the excellent evaluation. We hope to be able to serve you and your family again soon.

I like coming here for lunch. They have a panini and a pasta combo quite reasonably priced over lunch where you get a panini of your choice or the pasta of the day with a nice salad.The serve good coffee and jummy (Mövenpick) ice cream.The seating outside is nice in summer. Mind you, the buses go by right next to it.

Best frozen yoghurt in town! Creamy, sweet. Friendly staff. Still missing the Nutella topping but the normal chocolate sauce is delicious as well.

I recommend this restaurant for a lunch break. It is a simple Italian, with good food - not special - but enjoyable and with good value for the money spent. And this can also be said for the other aspects: service / atmosphere / ... : enjoyable, simple, reasonably priced, but not more... For lunch it is a good alternative, but if you would like to spend a meal over hours in a relaxed atmosphere, I recommend to visit one of the other restaurants in Aarau which put more effort into these details.

Very good pizza and nice atmosphere. They use high quality ingredients and since they specialize in pizza, obviously they have to make them taste good. Some others have described it as "reasonably priced" - but it is just pizza after all, not a 3 course meal. In my opinion, it is only a good deal if you go with a large group. For 2 people it's quite expensive if you order anything other than the most basic varieties, so I would say the value doesn't kick in unless you have at least 4-5 in your group. I also thought they were pretty skimpy with the toppings considering how much you pay. Beer was well-priced, although only one option on tap.Overall, I would probably only go here again with a group rather than just a party of 2.

Well placed, very centered, is a seven minutes walk from the main station.. they have nice teas and sandwiches i really liked the berry/mint tee that i used to order every time i went there.. the attention is normal and the atmosphere is pretty calm.Dear Fer S.
