Whatâs a Hooley, you ask? Hooley (who-lee) â an informal Irish home kitchen party. Traditionally, a Hooley was a social party that took place at a private residence, often in the kitchen. Everyone brought their favorite dish, their instruments, of course
The food and service were wonderful. The corned beef was thin and the flavor was amazing. Good selection of beers.

We were greeted by the bartender who offered a handshake with his introduction which was very cool. Apparently they do that to all guests upon arrival. The bar is on the smaller side, but that is not a bad thing! We found it cozy and inviting! The food was excellent and the beer was cold. We had a corned beef with pita chip dip, a reuben, and corned beef perogies which were OUTSTANDING! I would highly recommend them! The corned beef simply melted in your mouth! If I could rate it 6 stars I would. I don't have a bad thing to say about the experience and really look forward to going back!
This place is amazing!! Its a small local pub with great craft brews AND mixed drinks. The staff are great and so friendly. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a strip mall bar. But OH MY GOSH their food is amazing. We are from Chicago and get to the area a few times a year and always make a stop there. The burgers are fantastic and the fries are perfect. I had the wet fries, smothered in gravy and corned beef, that were good. I like a plain one now and then but you can get it on the side. Oh and if you like really crispy wings with little breading, this is the place. So crispy and just enough sauce. I am not a huge fan of wings but I love theirs and so does my husband. The New Yorker corned beef sandwich was tasty, tender and crispy on the outside of the bread. Last visit I had the slaw. Not your typical slaw though. I think it is a mayonaise based dressing and I think it has jicama in it too. I try to replicate at home, not quite there yet. I highly recommend this place any night of the week.
