The food was fine, a bit overpriced for what it is. The kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed as our food came out at different times and not altogether. The staff were all very pleasant.

JJ Ruddles is a recent addition to The food offerings at Shannon Airport. Located in the main arrivals hall itâs accessible to everyone. The decor is warm & modern with an outdoor area too if the weather allows! For lunch you have a choice from the hot counter for fast pre prepared mains and the all day menu. The day we were there nothing on the hot counter looked particularly appealing. We ordered And payed at the till before taking our seats. The staff were mostly young seasonal employees Iâd imagine. Of the seven of us only two were happy with there choices. The pizzas were slightly over done and lacking in flavor! I had the fish and chips which was presented well. However The large piece of battered fish was sitting in a load of oil which should have being drained off or towel dried before plating and my chips were over cooked. I did not consider this good value or worth the price charged. The burger was the only item that our group enjoyed. This was very disappointing. We are part of a very large local employer whose staff eat out a lot and are now unlikely to recommend this restaurant to our colleagues unless the quality of the food served improves.

Had a great time here watching a soccer match with the locals,drinking and yelling.Place was packed even with several bars open.We were staying at the nearby 5 star castle,but we just wanted a little freedom from the upper class.This is what I like and missed from home.

Lovely place, really well appointed, ask for a booth. Building is a picture, with its thatched roof. Wonderful menu, delicately cooked with great tasting food. Specials were marvellous. Try the Rib surf and turf, not cheap at â¬40 but really good. Tempura prawns accompanying were stunning. I changed the potato for sweet potato fries which were excellent. Mussels starter was really good too. Pasta starter is a good choice as packed with taste but manageable portion. Go easy on the Guinness Bread and leave room. Malbec was dark and deep and good value at â¬32. No rush here and top service too. We thoroughly enjoyed the Traditional Irish Night. The food was delicious. The servers were attentive and fun to interact with. The servers were also the very talented performers for the show of traditional Irish song and dance put on while we dined. It was a wonderful evening!Thank you very much for your kind review! Popped in here recently while visiting the craft Village next door. It has an old style country kitchen feel about it.My toasted sandwich was quite plain but was grand. Staff weâre nice and I canât complain about the tea.

Very nice breakfast with the family. Friendly staff and fast service. Prices were recently dropped and tea and coffee included. Much better value for to money now. We are Shannon locals so we will be back again regularly

3 of us had dinner on Thursday 20th June 2019 and it was outstanding. From the moment that we stepped through the door, we were greeted by Ciara and then by Jack- both with outstanding friendliness and efficiency. I had Pork Belly and black pudding, followed by Fillet of Cod and Mouth watering vanilla icecream. Noel ( owner), David ( GM) and Vicram ( Maitre'd) called to our table - many times- to see if we were pleased with our meal. Many thanks Noel, David, Ciara, Vicram, Jack and the Manor staff for an outstanding meal and service. Incidentally the restaurant was packed, thus indicating its popularity.

Ate at this restaurant tonight despite looking up on line and seeing special offers none were on the menu tonight....not a problem with us. We had cannelloni stuffed with cheese and spinach which was tasteless the sauce that it came in was lovely. My partner had the hake (which was tiny) came on a bed of tasteless puy lentils and topped with two tough camalari dont know what happened to the spinach veloute no sign on plate. Meal was bland and overpriced. Thought staff lovely and professional couldnt fault...wont be back.Dear shannon90Thank you for taking the time to review us. What a lovely restaurant....spacious, bright. The staff were amazing....nothing was too much trouble. I saw them taking a large group photograph, and they were very attentive to me and my cousin.The food was delicious....beautifully cooked, and well presented.My brother joined us for dessert and coffee, this did not present any problems for the staff.I will definitely eat there again when I am in the area.Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.Thank you very much Maura B for your wonderful review following on from your recent Dining experience with us at The Inn at Dromoland.
