Sit beside the fire in the bar or restaurant, Our aim with our customers is that by the time they have finished their meal they are planning their next visitâ. Our passion for great wholesome food is evident throughout our dishes and our respect for authe
Cannot recommend this place enough. Constantly greeted by warm welcomes from all the staff, theyâre all so lovely. Food portions are plentiful and always given with whatever side you want. No matter how busy it is youâre not kept waiting and food always delicious. Love this place and canât wait to be back

The Conservatory is a hidden gem - a real find whilst we were exploring the Military Road south of Dublin, and well worth a visit, especially if you happen to be visiting Glendalough (one of Irelands most popular tourist destinations). The staff at The Co
This place is in a nice setting... HOWEVER do not bother wasting your time visiting because you will be met with THE MOST APPALLING SERVICE EVER... Think Faulty Towers bad...20 minutes of repeatedly trying to order was in vain... rude inattentive staff... havenât a clue... Observing them is hilarious.. they donât even write down the orders then wander around the place trying to figure out who gets what like headless chickens...The menu is simplistic at best... not exactly very complicated itâs two types of soup... served with scones ?? Unusual combination...CANNOT COMMENT ON THE FOOD BECAUSE ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO ORDER.... the people who did manage the order it seemed to take a glacial amount of time...Oh and you might encounter the owner in the new flashy Mercedes who thinks itâs perfectly appropriate to spin the wheels of his car on the gravel driveway spitting up dust on the customers sitting outside...Oh and there is a For Sale sign outside...figures.. UTTER DUMP

I'll acknowledge this isn't the fastest carvery. We visited one several days before that ran about 50 people through the line in a few minutes. Lynham's took twice as long for half as many people. They seemed to be a little disorganized. However, they were pleasant and my Guinness & Beef Stew with local ale, and my wife's Ham and vegetables with a soda were very good. The dining room had a rural comfort and casualness with interesting, eclectic decoration, while another dining room was a little more upscale. There are other dining venues associated with this property. Prices seem to be fairly reasonable. We wandered into the hotel area and found a surprising environment. It seems the owner wants to appeal to the broadest clientele possible. The outside just appears to be a rustic inn. The basically upscale rustic interior decor appeals to regular visitors and business visitors. Other design elements include a large alien warrior built from motorcycle parts - to appeal to frequent motorcyclist visitors. They also apparently get a lot of wedding parties. The surrounding area is a small, kind of scenic village.

The Wicklow Heather Restaurant and is idyllically situated in the picturesque village of Laragh deep in the Wicklow Mountains, only minutes from the world renowned scenic and historic Glendalough, while the hustle and bustle of Dublin City is less than an
Nice little place, with lots of tables for seating. We were fortunate that we had a breakfast there, included with our stay at Trooperstown Lodge. We asked for breakfast sandwiches to go, and they were very helpful and accommodating. Also, the manager instructed us on the fine whiskeys of the area, and showed us the many different brands they have. As wee sip to taste, and we were on our way. Great atmosphere.

A popular long established eatery, prime placed on the main thoroughfare was ideal for a welcome dinner. After a warm welcome from the friendly and cheerful staff we turned attention to the menu. From the broad choices we had lovely mains. Followed by equally tasty dessert plus coffee and cappuccino. All dishes arrived without delay, courtesy of the attentive staff. With the relaxed atmosphere and good value, it counted as a most pleasant interlude.

The Sugar Mountain is a great little cafe, an ideal meeting place for fueling up with breakfast before a hike, or filling up with lunch after one. Best scrambled eggs and mushrooms! Itâs always busy, be prepared to wait a while for your order, but it is always worth the wait. Only negative is they donât take card payments so have your cash ready.

The Coach House, Roundwood, Co.Wicklow is one of the finest and highest pub restaurants in the Garden County. This award winning Irish Pub is close to Glendalough, Laragh, Enniskerry, Bray, Wicklow Town and the breathtaking scenery of Brittas Bay Beach, S
Eighty of us eat there after a family Christening. The food was delicious and plenty on the menu to choose from. There was a lot of people eating and drinking watching the GAA matches. We had a room to ourselves and it's very kid friendly with an enclosed Yard besides where we were eating so the kids could run and play. The Roundwood lake is a short distance away and the scenery is out of this world. It's easy to see why they call Wicklow the garden of Ireland. The staff were well able to deal with all their customers. There were a good few babies with us and there was no problem when it came to hearing babies bottles.
