Super restaurant. Had the Chef Special of the day, seafood risotto. Perfect, and good value. And the view from the upstairs restaurant on a June evening was also perfect. A gem of a restaurant and quite busy when I called early in the evening.

We were a group of 5 which had prebooked.Shown to our table and orders taken. Two of the group chose monkfish only to be told it was not available. Two other servers told us the same.Lack of communication from kitchen. The rest of the food was ok.We ordered red wine but the bottle was brought opened to the table. This happened for the next two bottles as well.Does nobody know to open and serve wine at a table? In total we had 5 different servers. Not good! There has been a slippage in standards and service since our previous visit .Disappointing! We apologise that you are disappointed with the experience you had. We certainly strive for the highest standards in 23. We very much hope to see you again.

Hadn't been in quite a while but heard about the two new chefs. Definitely did not disappoint. Food and service both fantastic. Fillet steak and crab claws were both delicious. Barry who served us was brilliant. Have already booked to go back in two days time.

In a beautiful refurbished 18th century building, where the Crawford family first started serving drinks in the mid 1800s, the Rostrevor Inn hosts a charming traditional bar, restaurant and stables area, an atmospheric main bar serving delicious food. We
We stayed here two nights 11 and 12 July. Lovely room, spotless clean with tea making facilities and nice bathroom. Beautiful food morning and night. The breakfast was probably the best I've experienced in Ireland. Great choice. Also the staff in restaurant and bar where excellent, friendly and helpful. We had a great day trekking to Cloughmore stone. Would highly recommend Rostrevor Inn and we will be back for sure.Thank you James for your review, it was lovely to meet you both and are delighted you enjoyed your stay with ourselves. Hope to see you again soon.

Decided to visit the Fiddlers Green Festival during the day midweek. Town was very busy as was the restaurant. Though we arrived at the end of busy lunch service we asked could we sit outside as such a beautiful day. We picked a table and were quickly offered menus and a drink order was taken. We both opted for the chicken salad which was delicious only fault a little too much dressing but very flavoursome. The owner of the restaurant was there and came to speak to everyone to check we were happy. Really nice guy who cared about his clientele Great service and very friendly staff

Though we were all age groups from 3 to over 80 there was something on the menu for everyone From the superb fish chowder with its delicious homemade wheaten bread which I had a tiny taste of to my scampi and chips. The scampi was second to none fresh batter over large juicy fresh prawns So tasty Others in our group had the penne pasta and fish and chips. Again no fault only portion size a little big. Which is not a fault. We had a three year old with us. Straight away he was given a picture and crayons to play with to keep him amused. Small but tasty childâs menu offered Again great service and very friendly staff. Also great chef.
