Things to do in Mallow
The service from everyone involved was absolutely brilliant, the food was delicious very well presented and a nice break between courses, very very relaxing, we celebrated our granddaughters First Holy Communion in spite of there being 3 other communions in the function room and more com minions in the restaurant / bar it was very well organised and no one was waiting for food and the staff were fantastic take a bow everyone, There is fantastic entertainment for the children in a downstairs room and is supervised by staff members bouncy castle etc. The children are given ther food first and they are takento where the Entertainment was. We left about 4pm very happy and satisfied, at 5pm ther was a disco for the children and from looking a video clip on Facebook they had a bopping time again with staff taking part and showing the children various moves the place was rocking WELL DONE. Had a fantastic day but just remember this is a GAA Complex but you would feel you were in a top class restaurant / hotel.

I don't usually bother with reviews unless I really have a great experience. This restaurant has become our daily lunch spot since it's opened in Mallow. Both food and customer service is top notch. Simple menu and affordable prices makes it easy to chose and no matter what you pick you wont regret it. Deserts and coffee and wine are spot on too. So far it has been our favorite place to dine in Mallow.

Chef: 5 star. Rib eye perfect, great veg, lovely apple tart (we shared the Martyn and dessert and there was plenty for both of us).Service: 5 star. Quick. Efficient. Young girls don't smile a lot, look as if they'd prefer to be looking at photographs on their phones.Building. 3 star. Floor tiles feel hard & look cold. Large building, small windows. Opens 9am to 10pm 7 days. We'll be back.

Dinner at Longueville House is more like an experience than just a meal. It is situated at the end of a long winding gravelly driveway, surrounded by interesting grounds with views of surrounding fields and hills. The staff are very friendly and helpful and immediately make you feel welcome and relaxed. You can walk the grounds, enjoy a drink at the bar and retire to the drawing room for your canapes. After dinner, you can enjoy a drink outside. The food was beautifully presented and fresh. My only fault is that the coffee could have been better. There was very little in the cup, too much and too weak to be an espresso and too strong and little to be an americano or a filter. Overall, everything was well worth what we paid for it and we look forward to returning.

In a secluded woodland setting in Cork's Blackwater Valley, Springfort Hall Hotel has an old-fashioned charm ideal for romantic getaways or discreet business meetings. The hotel's seductive dark-walled restaurant adds to the intimate ambience, with a succ
Springfort Hall is stunning. It is owned and managed by the Walsh Family for decades. It is stunning in everyway. If it was possible to give a higher rating then I would gladly do it. The food is mouth watering. I have been to Springford on passing by for lunch. I have also been to many weddings there and a variety of other functions and I have never been disappointed. Please keep up the great work.

It was a pity because the food looked good but we got a hair in the food! When we mentioned this we were asked what color was the hair and no apology or coffe or anything was offered. Not great when safety standards are meant to be so strict. Why let the truth get in the way of a good story. What "Coleen" failed to mention is that the so called "hair" was never produced so we have no evidence to prove her story. We immediately removed the "hairless" curry from her table (AND THE BILL) and replaced it with a toasted special & fries which we quite rightly charged for. Perhaps these tactics may work for you in other establishments but I have too much respect for my business and my staff to succumb to such antics. I suppose that's the thanks you get for bending over backwards to accommodate a party of 3 with no reservation on a busy Saturday night !!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure you arrive hungry. The portions are huge. Great value menu to suit all tastes and very accommodating staff.

We came here for dinner as we were staying nearby. This is a family friendly restaurant with a rather large menu. The service was average and the waitress didn't pay much attention to our table but that isn't what bothered me. Although everyone else's meals looked delicious; mine had a minor issue. The cajun chicken sandwich was not cooked all the way through. About halfway into eating it I began to notice that the meat was starting to get a bit pink. The rest of the meal was delicious so I think it may have been a one-time mistake. Howver, I would avoid this place as it seems there are better restaurants nearby.

Situated at the gates of Mallow Castle 1584 at The White Deer is an award winning restaurant that showcases local produce in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Set over two floors we can also accommodate larger groups upstairs and have a range of dishes p
Had a lovely meal with friends at 1584 tonight. Starter options that were ordered included the fish cake with poached egg and the chicken caesar salad. Starters were delicious, plentiful and left our mouths watering with all the flavours. Mains ordered were the burger with chunky chips cooked in dripping and the fish and chips special. Oh my god there are just no words to describe how good the food was. The burgers were big and juicy with so much flavour. The fish was cooked beautifully with a lovely batter that was both crispy and fluffy and served with a delicious homemade tartar sauce. The chips cooked in dripping were amazing! It was like the scene from when Harry met Sally with all the "oohs" and "aaahs" coming from each side of the table. Although we were all full after our main courses we couldn't resist the dessert menu. Chocolate lava cakes and warm apple crumble were ordered. The lava cake was baked perfectly with a fab gooey centre. The crumble was well presented and packed full of taste. None of us could fault a single thing about our meal. The staff were fantastic and looked after us well with prompt service in a warm and friendly manner. Will definitely be recommending. Thank you so much Amanda. Our team will be really happy with this. We really appreciate you taking the time to write this :)
