Went on a return visit to Rudyâs this evening for my wifeâs birthday.Had a lovely Romanian Pinot Noir which was a little unconventional but on recommendation did not disappoint.Had the wings to start- delicious. Piping hot, lovely flavour. Two steaks for mains, mine medium, wifeâs medium rare- both cooked to perfection!Dessert was hard to fit in (!) but we had the sticky toffee which again was delicious.Service was attentive but not overbearing, ambience nice and busy but not too loud.I really donât have anything negative at all to say about this place and would highly recommend it. It was very reasonable and they clearly know what they are doing. I wish there was more of this in blanch. We will be back!

The Lord Lucan is located in the busy borough of Lucan on the Southside of County Dublin. A charming traditional style pub with many modern elements, The Lord Lucan has been extensively refurbished over the last 2 years or so. We serve excellent food & dr
Visit here sometimes and, although very very big, it has a cosy and friendly atmosphere. Bar staff and clientele very friendly. Clean, nice pint and the toilets are kept in a pristine condition. A nice place for a drink if you don't fancy the city. Haven't tried the food but it certainly looks delicious too.

I have been attending Courtneyâs of Lucan for the past 8 months and I must say the staff are top notch and awful friendly towards members of the public and they are very accommodating towards people who work away from home by making it a home away from home for people like us. Can safely say this place is a spot worth visiting love darragh from Lynchs

Fantastic little restaurant, family run. The homemade bread is to die for (one of the best; similar to Tartine in San Francisco) Highly recommend the lamb, rabbit and cod main courses. Not pretentious, but simply excellently prepared (spices, concentrated sauces and optimally cooked). Small wine list, but good choices at moderate prices.

The Penny Hill is a spectacular Dublin Pub in Lucan boasting a fine restaurant and Live Music every weekend.
I always find this place to be a disappointment when I go in. The food is only ok and itâs a sister place of a place I love. The staff donât really seem to care. And I have gone in a few times to give it a chance. Hi There, Thank you for your feedback. Can you please PM us your contact details and we will be in touch with you directly to discuss this further. Kind regards, Pennyhill Pub

We booked a Groupon voucher for a 4 course meal for two, which cost â¬49. We certainly weren't disappointed! This is a lovely quaint, rustic venue and we were warmly greeted and shown to our table immediately upon arrival. The table service was extremely prompt and helpful and our waitress was friendly, engaging and polite. My husband had the duck spring roll for starters and he said it was delicious (he's a fussy so and so - so this means it must have REALLY been good ). I had the cajun chicken salad which was lovely. For mains, he had fillet of Haddock with chunky chips (again, he loved it!!) and I ordered Lamb pie with creamy mash. I can't describe how moreish this was!!! To die for!! A real homely abs hearty meal.Dessert was Berry merengue with ice cream, followed by coffee.Truly delighted with the experience, service and quality of food. We will DEFINITELY be back â¤ï¸

Serving Lunch from 12pm with fresh salads, skinny soups and daily hot specials of quiches and pies. The evening menu has all the classic pub favorites including steak on the stone, slow roasted belly of pork with home made desserts such as key lime pie to
Had a family dinner there, first time in Lucan. The interiors were very impressive inside, so we thought the food was going to be even better. However, we were slightly disappointed with just an average taste. Could be better but could be worse. I'd give it 6/10. Great service though!

Lying in the heart of Lucan Village, Reeds on the Riverâs rough-hewn beams, hardwood floors and traditional adornments dispenses an ambiance of warmth and charm. Our culinary team brings together traditional cuisines and modern techniques to provide a tru
The restaurant is attractively laid out over several floors. We were seated in a lovely room at the top floor. The staff obviously take pride in the excellent service they deliver . An interesting menu was offered and what we ordered was beautifully presented . I had perfectly cooked monkfish. The accompanying mash was nice but not outstanding and an additional vegetable would have been welcome. The overall ambiance is relaxing and thereâs a palpable sense of hospitality. Would happily return if in the area again.
