We both ordered Irish stew the quality which will always reflect the beef used. On this occasion it was a little tough and chewy. The waitress was cheerful and the servings were generous. The atmosphere was compromised by the loud radio station playing in the background.

Had Salmon and it was so fresh and beautifully cooked. Not a big place but nice atmosphere. It was busy the night we went but all added to the feel of the place. Not too expensive and great quality of service.

Kenny's Bar, Lahinch has become a landmark in North Clare, frequented by both locals and visitors alike, for its relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A fourth generation family business, Kenny's humble origins as a coachhouse in the 1830s, has seen it evolve
Ordered the special of fresh crab claws with salad & fries. Crab claws were served in a sauce not specified & were not very fresh or juicy. Sauce was warm & my salad was placed in the centre of the plate so it was nicely wilted!! & surrounded by warm sauce. Expensive for what I got. Nice bar for a deink

I stayed at Vaughan Lodge for two nights with a golf group. The highlight of the hotel is the restaurant. The locally sourced food is exquisite (albeit not cheap). The setting is simple and unobtrusive, and the service is friendly and unprepossessing. Thank you cathy for your review. Our Restaurant is our spoilt child!Despite the price we charge for Dinner, we make nothing from the venture. It will have cost us more to serve the meal you enjoyed than what you paid ....but we still like to continue because we are serious about our food and about giving our guests a very enjoyable dining experience.Thank you for staying with us and dining.... many of our guests do not dine here at all.As with other parts of the hotel .... we like low key ... good quality.I am glad you appreciated what we offered you.Michael

Food is lovely. I had the veggie sandwich on sourdough which came with chips & partner had fish & chips. Lovely food and service. Perhaps a bit pricey but food makes up for it!

We're a family run seafood and steak restaurant in operation since 1988. We pride ourselves in sourcing the best local seafood and steaks and serve vegetables fresh from the garden. Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way against the backdrop of Liscannor Bay,
Booked dinner in Barrtra last week. It was amazing. We had the tasting menus Fish & Meat. It was served by the very professsional Molly. She took great care of us for the evening. The cources came out in perfect timing, washed down by a lovely wine.Everything is home grown & cooked here. The flavours of the food would certainly back this up.The restaurant was very busy and standards very high.Molly organised a taxi home...Thank YouWe will be back..The homemade bread was so tasty..

New Artistan cafe in Lahinch serving fresh local produce alongside roasted brown specialty coffee, specializing in breakfast, lunch and freshly baked treats.
This time I brought the terrors 6.5 and 2.5 they just adored Dodi's pancakes. Quote from Miss 6.5 "best pancakes ever"....long pause..."eh besides your mom". They were to die for so I've told her it's okay the pancakes deserve her review (and she's picky!). Dodi put all the extras on the side for the kids so they could taste and pick and choose.the breakfast bagel was so good with local bacon that you just cant get in NZ and the staff are always fabulous. Can never recommend enough, if in Lahinch it's definitely worth a stop.

Four of us ate here on Saturday 24th August for lunch we were greeted by the bar lady who gave us menus and explained about the specials she was lovely very friendly and helpful a younger girl came to take our order and was very pleasant too. The food was delicious very fresh hot and tasty very reasonably priced too. It was very busy but had no problem making us fabulous baileys coffees after we ate. We went up to the counter to pay and chatted the bar lady again who told us all about the charity biker festival that was on for cancer and about the September festival and local sites. She seemed busy they both did but still took time to chat. Very welcoming place very clean and great food. 10 out of 10 in all areas especially staff. We will be back sometime to check out all the sites of Clare.Hi Tigue35,thanks for taking the time to leave us the lovely review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your visit and in particular your baileys coffees. We would be delighted to see you back again sometime in the future. Kind Regards, David.
