Looking for a quiet dinner out, we were pleasantly surprised by the service, decor and selection at The Rum House. The sizzling chicken fajitas were very tasty and superfood salad for the vegetarian was a nice change.

Myself and my husband dined here tonight. I messaged on Facebook earlier today to check the restaurant was open as the last time we went there shortly after Xmas the place was closed. However when we arrived at 5pm we were told the restaurant was full and the bar man said he was told to take no more walk ins. I shouldâve been told this when I messaged earlier. However we were happy to have a few drinks first. At 7pm I went into the restaurant to see if we could get a table in a while. Half the restaurant was cordoned off. The waitress said only two tables would be available later. One right beside the pay desk and one right beside the toilets. We decided to eat in the bar instead off the restaurant menu. We had the chicken wings each which were lovely. We also ordered the trio of goats cheese bruschetta to share between us. The trio was a duo. Of very basic bruschetta which was massively overpriced at â¬8.95. I mentioned the fact that there was only 2 bruschetta to the barman and he laughed and to the waitress who said it was a misprint in the menu. We had the same main course. Cajun chicken. It was so basic. Most certainly not restaurant food. Desserts were nice. I got a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc. I always used to get the Villa Maria Marlborough which was delicious and â¬22. The only Marlborough they had was now â¬29. I ordered it and it was pretty awful. Tasted really cheap. As did the glass of Prosecco I had. All in all it was so disappointing. Not at all like it used to be. When the bar man gave us the bill I said I wasnât happy with the main but it made no difference. It cost us â¬24 in taxis to get there and home. We will never be back.

we fancied a change from our hotel for dinner so we went in on a monday evening, the place was busy enough, we had a friendly welcome and were shown to our seats and given menus. I had the special combo which consisted of baby back ribs, cajun chicken, 6oz steak. onion rings and chunky chips. I have to say it was one of the tastiest meals i have ever had i ate every bit even though i did not think i was that hungry before hand. My wife was also delighed with her choice and the pavlova dessert was huge so we both polished that off. Super friendly staff. When we asked for the bill we thought they had forgotten to charge for something as it was so reasonable for what we got. Highly recommended. If ever in the area again we will certainly be back. many thanks.

Some pubs lean more towards the drinks, some lean more towards the food. Fitzpatrick's has plenty of drinks, but they lean more towards the latter. Some very creative menu choices here, and they also had a nice set price menu for lunch the day we were there. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The Halloween decorations are incredible and are, I assume, the reason why it was fully booked on a Sunday afternoon. We found seats at the bar, which was perfectly serviceable.hi jodydavisThank you for taking the time review us here at fitzpatricks bar and restaurant we really appreciate all feedback both negative and positive. we are really glad you enjoyed your visit to us and look forward to seeing you again, from the whole team here at fitzpatricks bar and restauran

Staff very welcoming and attentive, the place is cosy and comfortable too. Food is top notch, good sized main portions and very tasty. The only thing letting it down is some of the pricing - in particular the starters being 10 to 11 euros for fairly simple dishes. Makes going more of a treat than a regular option which is a shame as we live local. Overall a really nice place to eat tho. The food is great and service excellent.

Party of 23 had Sunday lunch here for a very special family occasion.Management very helpful at the booking stage and were happy to meet our requirements. Great menu with plenty to choose from.Good, efficient service at the tables.Food was plentiful and everyone really enjoyed the taste and presentation. Good value for money with kids eating free.Hasn't been a venue that our family have dined in before, but after the meal it was suggested that we go back to Riva for our annual Christmas gathering in December.

Excellent food, drink and service is what we strive to attain -whether you want a coffee, 4 course meal, romantic first date or just a relaxing drink or two - the Windsor Bar & Restaurant will cater for your needs.
Visited the Windsor restaurant recently. We had a table reserved for 17 of us. They did it up so that children were at one table and adults at another, which worked out fine. Additionally we were in a separate place in the restaurant and we were able to close the doors, so as not to disturb others eating.... We were making a bit of noise. Food was great and the service was really good and friendly.

So first things first... No meat at all.Pizza all vegetarian all soup all sandwiches no meat.Eggs take focal... OK if you like eggs.Pizzas still very good. And soups and sandwiches are excellent. Despite being very pricey for what you get.Be prepared to spend guts of 20 euro ahead for a proper feed. But freshness and quality if top notch. You get for what you pay for.Place is full of ladies who lunch who sit over a coffee so seats can be hard to find and the waiting system is strange for a place who charge a much.If Instagram is your thing and taking pictures of your lunch than this is your place.Would I return... Yes and I have..
