Made a return visit as we were impressed the first time. No change, still a comprehensive menu, with plenty of choice. The food was both tasty and well prepared, with sizeable portions at a reasonable price. The service was both friendly and efficient. Retro interior with a pleasant ambiance.Hi Richard, Thank you very much for your positive review and for returning to Brooks once again. Your feedback will be shared with management and staff. We really appreciate you taking the time to recommend Brooks as 'worth seeking out' on TripAdvisor. Hopefully we'll see you again soon.Kind Regards from all the team here.

Had the carver here one day having seen previous reviews. It was ok, reasonably priced and food was grand, no problem having chips instead of mash, just a minute or two wait for the chips. Nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either. One plus is the parking outside is for half hour free, so that makes it a little easier to chose this place- the chef was accommodating and he and person at the till were friendly.Toilet was nice and clean, and Iâd say itâs possibly a nice place for a pint judging by the overall vibe from the place.

Went here with the Grandchildren for a 'day out' and enjoyed many facets of the Site. The children enjoyed the journey through the forest on the train, with the Story running through the journey, then it was on to making a Teddy friend and from there to the Shopping centre area. The Cheesecake was lovely, all the food went down well and so all were happy. Only really for smaller kids, 3 yrs upwards but good shopping choice for adults, garden centre and some Designer brands all available.

BeaNice Artisan Food and Drink Emporium is located in what is the oldest house in Carlow town. We serve a range of breakfasts, lunches and sweet treats, all made from locally sourced food, along with all your favourite coffees and teas.
I arrived down from Dublin with an hour and a half to spare and took my chances on the BeaNice Cafe on the main street. I got parking just outside and popped in. The first think I noticed were two little girls in school uniform sitting up having their breakfast, there were the owners kids, and as their Granny was away they were helping their Mum and Dad. I got a great cappuccino, smooth and full flavoured and served at the perfect temperature. I ordered scrambled eggs and brown toast. Eggs average but brown bread they were served with was delicious. I only intended eating one slice....but couldn't resist the second slice - served with plenty butter! Will be back - but hopefully next time to try their lunch.

End in Lennons after checking trip for Carlow. Not the easiest to find but a pleasant surprise way eventually we got there, outside seating area and spacious room, short menu with daily specials explain "vaguely" by our waitress. Excellent starters of chicken liver pate (generous) and crab/fish (a tad expensive for amount) only one main of panko chicken which was too cooked and dry, again good portion but uninteresting mayo and tasteless salad, chips ok only, dessert quite heavy. Overall, could be better, more friendly/homy and more care in the kitchen, all these things easily rectified to get a better experience

Romantic setting in a relaxed environment. Food cooked from fresh ingredients on order. Locally sourced produce with selection of fine wine to compliment dishes. Early bird menu available, in season produce at competitive rates.
My two friends and I enjoyed a delicious three course meal from the early bird menu last night. It was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and incredible value for money. Wine by the glass was served in very generous portions compared to some restaurants Iâve been to recently. We had a lovely night and really enjoyed the food and hospitality.

Teach Dolmain Bar & Restaurant with its award winning food and great service has become the standard by which others aspire to. Superb food of the highest standard is available all day which begins at 9.30am for breakfast & our famous morning coffee menu.
A warm welcome awaited us on our arrival .Restaurant was very busy but we were seated in seconds. The extensive menu had something to suit all tastes. I opted for the pan fried Hake while herself waded into a delicious chicken dish. No complaints.
