We are a small family run Bistro, we serve homemade food with passion and diligence also we provide catering services.
amazing food and very generous portions. 100% reccomend the wraps, especially the ceaser wrap!! its to die for. the only downfall is that the bistro is small. we witnessed many people walk out the door because it was packed which is a shame because business looks like its booming!

We discovered this restaurant while driving along the beautiful Ring of Kerry. We entered this nice cottage with its beautiful thatch roof and had there our lunch with stew and shephard dish. To finish we had coffes and Rhubarb cake, simply wonderful and the price was abt.39 euros for two people. They also have a shop where to buy interesting souvenirs. We'll go back again in the future.

Rang up to make a reservation for 8:30PM seating as we had been traveling all day and realized there were few places open to serve food beyond 9PM. Upon asking if a table would be available for 8:30 the woman on the phone brusquely said they stop serving at 9PM. We assured her we would arrive by 8:30, if not sooner. Thinking the lack of pleasantness might be due to a busy or stressful day, we decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. However, when we arrived (early I might add) we were not warmly welcomed in any way but rather abruptly directed to our table. We quickly placed our order with a female server who was equally rude and abrupt...one member of our party asked for a minor alteration to their order (ie. half chips and half rice with the curry) only to receive a curt reply "we don't do halfs". The food was served within a fairly quick time frame by rather cool and abrupt waiters. With respect to the food, in every case (we were a party of 7) the meals were not only enjoyed but everyone insisted the food was quite good. Bottom line, the food is nice but due to the poor manners of the telephone receptionist/host and the general unpleasantness of the staff we will not return to this restaurant, nor can we recommend.

I ordered Irish stew and a Guinness. Could not have been more delighted with both.Great atmosphere. Comfortable seating.Don't agree with small children running around. A pub is a pub for adults. Families can go to more appropriate places.Otherwise, worth the visit.

Newly refurbished bar located in the main street of Cahersiveen; food served 12:30pm - 9:30pm daily.
The mussel starter was good and generous. The rib eye steak was fine and the chicken mafta quite good. However, both were accompanied by what the menu called âspicy potato wedgesâ but were in fact not spicy, too greasy chips. The dessert described as âcheesecakeâ was fine but actually a mousse. Serving sizes were mediocre, which along with the rather high price lowered the value. Service was fine.

QC's won the prestigious award of BIM (Irish Fisheries Board) Seafood Restaurant of the Year in 2012. With Head Chef Eddy Gannon the food seems to just get better and our team of wait staff are as committed to making your dining experience as pleasurable
We have already provided a review of Q&Câs boutique hotel (which is excellent), but it would be just wrong to include the restaurant in the same narrative. It deserves a review all of its own. This is a delightful restaurant, the décor is marine themed, but not cluttered (as so many restaurants are). We were able to book a table for two at check-in, and were facilitated with an excellent table in the middle of the restaurant. Two things we wish to highlight. First, the food. The sizzling prawns were literally the best prawns I have ever tasted. The other main was Black Sole (one of the âSpecialsâ) and whilst cooked on the bone, the chef kindly agreed to de-bone it for us. The standard of food is exceptional. Second, the staff - young, energetic, dynamic, polite, courteous, engaging, professional, and effortlessly dealing with a very busy service. Thank you, this was a delightful dining experience.

Came here for dinner one evening and were seated quickly. The young waitress was a friendly blond lady who patiently answered our questions about their menu and whiskey in the area. She provided attentive service without hovering. She spared a few minutes to chat with us through the meal, and made us feel welcomed. She told us about the spring well that is inside the restaurant and took us to it to see. The food was quite good. Very well seasoned, prepared, and presented. Service was prompt but not rushed. The atmosphere seemed close, friendly, and very laid-back. People were having discussions, but the noise level was not deafening; you could HAVE a conversation. It felt comfortable, almost like the place belonged to someone we knew personally. This was one of my favorite restaurants on the entire 2-week trip.

Seafood and Irish coffee - a win win.Wait staff was very good. We went there twice in 2 weeks. The lobster was so good. The location, by the water, was a plus.
