This is a small but warm omurice place near Wakkanai station, across from town hall. If you haven't had omuice, it's just what it sounds like-- fried rice, usually ketchup-based, wrapping inside of an omelette. Only a few years old now, this restaurant has a variety of types, from the traditional ketchup and demi-glace, to more nontraditional fare like curry-omurice. You can choose if you like your egg firm and wrapped, or a little soft and just covering the rice. Either way, it tastes great! They also have a changing menu of non-omelette fare, as well as cakes and sweets.The owners are a lovely couple who are very welcoming to foreign customers, so don't be afraid to say hello. :)
