We made a guide tour from Santiago to Valparaiso-Viña Del Mar and Club Arabe was the restaurant that was previosly chosen by the tour company. The place is very pleasant, very well located with a beautifull panoramic view. The service is regular - the restaurant is pretty full and busy ´cause many tour buses get over there. There´s nothing special about the food - but honestly, there´s nothing special about chilean food as well...Considering the atmosphere, the food and the service, it´s an expensive restaurant. There is a lapis-lazuli store close to it which sells VERY expensive jewelry. Tourist trap!

Restaurant - peruvian and international cuisine bar
Leave and go to Cholos restaurant one street away. They have fresh fish. I had an octopus that I could not eat
This place is awesome! Excellent food, friendly service, turns out one of the owners is an Aussie from Melbourne where we live, he started this cafe/bar with his Chilean partner, they do a great Melbourne style breakfast, I had the smashed avocado which was yum, my wife had one of their delicious toasties. Great for vegetarians. Would highly recommend!

Restaurant installed in a house of the year 1940 completely renovated but retaining the traditional. New restaurant concept in the city of Viña del Mar to enjoy an unprecedented gastronomic experience.
This was the best dinner we've had after almost 2 months in Chile! The food was delicious. We had the octopus (pulpo) appetizer, asado de tira (pork ribs), and rabo iberico (tender oxtail) which were all great. Their mojitos were the best I've had in years, and were 2 for the price of 1 bc of the happy hour special that goes from 5-9pm. The staff were really friendly and welcoming to us and my daughter. They helped explain things in English and were really attentive. And the decor, music, and outdoor garden was awesome! I'm so happy we found this place and will go back next for sure!

We decided to eat at Romeo sin Julieta because of the long wait (and slow service) at the neighboring seafood restaurant, Felines, and were so glad we did. The owner of the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, and speaks perfect English. She was able to explain the menu to us and make recommendations. I ordered the salmon ceviche (Thai flavored) and a ginger lemonade. My lunch was super affordable, at around $15 USD for a seafood lunch. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The portion of ceviche was big and filling. My friends ordered salads and sandwiches and were also very happy with their food. Additionally, we loved the ambiance as there was music playing, we sat on the patio, and pet the owner's adorable dog. If you are in the area, definitely stop by! You won't regret it!

My wife and I visited Negro Rojo for lunch last week a couple and then for dinner twice after that. This restuarant specializes in Spanish food and it did not disappoint on either the food quality, quanity, price or service. Outstanding in every respsect. Paella is their speciality but every other dish is also very good. The restuarant is small (maybe 10 tables) and is open for lunch and had just opened for dinner that last week. It has been open for a year and based on the Spanish reviews I had read started off a bit slow, no liqour license (a perennial problem in Vina - it take months to get a liquor licence but that is another story). The lunch menu has a special for $5,000 Chilean Pesos which is about $10 Cdn. The day we had the lunch special it included a great pumpkin soup that would go for $5,000 pesos alone. It had a hint of garlic and some other spices I didn't recognize but it was great. The main course was a great meat dish. Delicious. The desert was a typical Spanish desert that was like a custard. The 5,000 peso price also included a beverage. A bargain and great food. The service was also very gracious. We had a lunch later that week and had the croquet with ham and bacon. Outstanding as well. We had one small dinner after that with 6 of us. I had the shrimp in garlic (Gamba Ajillo). Outstanding. The other guests had the pork with potatoe which was outstanding as well. The food is not Chilean as can tell right away with slightly different and sometimes unknown spices. The waiter, owner abd chef were always very gracious, humble and really nice people. The owner even introduced me to his wife. So nice. We had a big dinner last night for 11 and had the paella and other dishes. We ghad the Paella Marinera and Riojana. The first was a seafood paella with large shrimp, mussles, calamari and octupus along with the traditional rice. Heaven. The second was a meat, red pepper and chorizo paella which was equally good. The prices were less than what you would pay at a higher end restuarant in Vina but worth the price for the paella (about $15 Cdn per person). Had the Gamba Ajillo (garlice shrimp) again. Large shrimp. Outstanding. If you handle a hot dish, try the Chorizo Riojano. Heaven. Try the Spanish beer. A light tasting, nice finish. A small wine list but the Sangrai is fabulous. Not cheap wine nor sweet. The Cab Sav is outstanding for about $18. All in, a great place to visit for lunch or dinner. Outstanding food and service. The lunch special is cheap and great. The dinner should be paella but another dish will work. Our new favorite restaurant in Vina (and there is many to choose from).

Probably the best Fish & Chips I have had for years, since a fabulous place in Iceland years ago.You can choose from 4 standard fish, or today (not sure how often they have this) you could also choose Congril (moray eel), which was absolutely delicious. Tasty and firm, with fluffy batter, just the way it should be.Thanks you guys for choosing Oz Foods. We appreciate your visit and we hope to see you again anytime in the future. Cheers.

Excellent food and service. Friendly helpful staff. Waiter spoke excellent English and explained the ethos behind the restaurant - based on the Mapuchi nation food fused with modern Chilean food. Excellent. Different and very tasty. Thoroughly recommended. Locationj saved for my next visit.

Little french tradicional and romantic restaurant in the city center. Near to the Marina mall and 300mt to the ocean.
Slightly out of the way but near the main shopping mall in Viña this is a stop definitely (but not obviously) worth making. Lovely people, great food and French music give it a real ambiance. Thoroughly recommended.
