We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel / restaurant. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The decor of the hotel is unique, and we loved it! Very colourful ambiance, lots of space in the rooms. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable, we all had 3 great nights of sleep. The location is very near almost everything, but just far enough away to be quiet at night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.For the restaurant, one of my daughters is celiac, and the chef was able to accommodate her no problem. Her food was as tasty as the gluten containing food, a rare event while traveling. The chef made the sauce for her main course specially for her without gluten. So we could all have the very filling and delicious 3 course dinner.

We ate in this restaurant twice last week and had wonderful food along with charming and friendly prompt service. Its easy to find located on the high street and is popular but we didnt have to wait, its large and spacious and well decorated and we found the food very well priced compared with other locations nearby and as our pizzas, starters and deserts were all very good quality, tasty an delicious i would suggest that this place is very good value for money.

This restaurant has a great terrace overlooking the lovely river The Geul. You can enjoy the warmth of the sun until sunset. Very nice and with a southerly atmosphere. This place is great for drinks but not for dinner: both service and quality are mediocre. The outside great atmosphere is not continued inside unfortunately. There are lots of better dinner places around.

Découvert avec Social deal, l'hotel/restaurant très (trop?) moderne est excentré par rapport au centre ville de Valkenburg mais se situe au début de très jolies promenades le long de la Geul. Restaurant sans âme ou plutôt à l'âme industrielle tout en béton, il était quasi complet ce dimanche soir. A cause des offres de lancement ?Terrasse plus agréable par beau temps.Menus à la carte disponibles. Si vous payez le prix plein, c'est assez cher pour la quantité dans l'assiette: 34,5⬠pour un 3 plats. Point de vue qualité, un sans faute tant en goûts qu'en présentation mais avec des ingrédients peu onéreux. Les saveurs restent classiques mais les combinaisons sont justes.Petite mise en bouche (amuse) en sus comme on aime le faire dans la région.Boissons à prix raisonnable: bouteille de cava à 24â¬, vins à prix similaires, eau 70 cl à 5â¬.Service efficace à défaut d'être très souriant.Dommage, il n'y avait pas de pain à table et le fromage bleu avec les gnocchi n'était pas repris sur la carte.Parking gratuit.A moins d'être un fan du courant industriel plein aux as, regardez si l'une ou l'autre promotion n'est pas applicable pour ne pas sortir un peu déçu. We had a great evening and a lovely tapas dinner at this restaurant. After a long day of hiking, together with our dogs, this was the best place to enjoy a delicious dinner! Although the weather helped, the atmosphere at the restaurant was like being in Spain; relaxing music, cosy terrass and a Corona! We tried a lot of different tapas because we were with 4 people, and all of the dishes we had were fresh and very tasty, even though the complete restaurant and terrass outside was full. After dinner we had a nice chat with the owners and enjoyed a last beer on the terrass, I really recommend to try this place!

I had dinner a couple if times in his restaurant when I spent an overnight at the beautiful thermae 2000. The food was always very good and they tend to utilize seasonal vegetables. The cook was able to make a 3 course vegan meal for me and I was very pleased with it. They even had a special whole grain bread for me (all other bread contained butter).

We stopped for coffees & pastries (which are so great in this area) at Lunchroom De Bongerd & again we were not disappointed! The coffees were all accompanied by a shot glass on the side with advocaat & topped with cream. This is a really nice tradition in the Limburg area & some places have slight variations to this, so it all makes for a nice memorable experience of the area. Needless to say the flans were all delicious too! The walls were decorated with crafty canvasses (for want of a better word!) with a teapot/coffee theme & were very different so added to the restaurant theme. They were for sale, so had we had room in our suitcases, would have been very tempted! The staff were friendly, chatty & very welcoming, so next time definitely worth a return visit!

We had the 3 course social deal which started with gambas and mushrooms which were both good. The main course was disappointing: salmon was blend, spareribs dry and fries not crunchy. Dessert was good with icecream and sorbet. Main disappointment was it took 2.5 hours for a 3 course meal which is too long.
