i travel 80 percent of my time each year visiting different lounges , restaurant and hotels. i would like to recommend Sayda Manzanares, she is very proffessuonal and knowlegable. I was undecided what I wanted to eat. Sayda was very helpful in recommending the special of the house. Delicious meatballs with spaghetti. At first I thought it was your traditional spaghetti and meatballs. However Sayda thoroughly explained and i was convinced. I will continue to come to this place over again and will reccomend the hotel, bar, restaurant and Sayda to all my business partners. I appreciate all of her staff including Wilson, very friendly.

The restaurant has spectacular views over Ushuaia and the Channel making for a pleasant environment to enjoy an evening meal. A good selection of reasonably priced dishes including King crab as a starter with efficient friendly service. We were staying in The Los Acebos hotel which the restaurant is a part of and weâre glad we stayed and enjoyed a relaxing meal with a great view. Dear TLPaul,Thank you very much for choosing Restaurant Orange! We are happy to read from your comments that you have very much enjoyed our gastronomic proposal and also views!Hope you visit us again!Kind Regards,Restaurant Orange

Oh boy! If you are looking for something truly out of the ordinary, then Rincon Gourmet is mandatory! Ariel, the owner, built a little hut, where he serves his guests with top-notch meals. He is a trained chef who learned some of his craft around the world, including France. He cooks and serves his guests himself, hence there are only few tables. There is no menu, because he choses his dishes on what fresh ingredients he finds, so you can typically chose between a few starters, mains and deserts. He offers a few hand picked high class wines for reasonable prices. The entire experience feels like having a dinner at a friends home. Its cozy, small, rustic, high class. The food was absolutely tasty, and the entire evening was supercharged by the friendly service and funny conversations. If you want to go there, make sure to call and reserve a table, as its pretty small. Don't miss this place - I mean it!

Slightly out of the centre of town, but an easy walk downhill to the shopping street, Del Bosque gave us a very spacious room with basic kitchen facilities - no cooker - and comfortable beds plus a big bathroom with a bidet - essential in South America for top cleanliness. We only ate there once but didn't repeat it because we did not want to come down from a superb gastronomic experience - seafood dish starters with a tender beef steak to follow and much Beagle stout...Staff were helpful in our very compressed stay and ensured we got the experiences we came to enjoy.Definitely a good one!

We stayed at the Arakur Hotel in the outskirts of Ushuaia, Argentina before a cruise to Antarctica. Because the hotel is several kilometers from town, we elected to have some of our meals in the Hotel. Much to our delight, the La Cravia restaurant produced some great dishes served by very competent and attentive servers. For our lunch the day we arrived, I had an octopus casserole. It was the finest octopus I have ever had anywhere (and I try to have octopus any time I see it on the menu because ai really like it). The dish was chocoblock full of perfectly cooked octopus swimming in a sauce of tomatoes, peppers and onions. Absolutely delicious. For dinner that evening, I was still full from lunch so I only ordered a bowl of soup. Their pumpkin soup with mushrooms was beautiful and delicious. It was light but very flavorful, perhaps with a hint of tarragon in it.We also had breakfast in La Cravia. While it was a more typical buffet, it combined both international foods with local offerings (I couldnât get enough of the dulce de leche). And the chef was there to make egg dishes and stuffed pancakes to order. The servers kept a careful eye on the tables and made sure that we always had water, juice and coffee.

The restaurant is elegant and cozy, both inside and outside. I guess there is a great view, but we were there in the evening so it was too dark to see anything. The food was very, very good. We had a mixed seafood starter, blaxck trout and salmon - everything was super tasty, one of the best dinners we had in the area.Wine was good, too.Prices are slightly higher than in other restaurants of the same category.

Recommended by a couple of people from El Calafate we were not disappointed . The ambience was lovely , the service excellent ( except would like to see a smile on the waitressâ face) and the food superb. I had the seafood boullibaise as a main full f seafood with that rich flavour . We had some fresh king crab and beautifully fresh salad as a starter . My wife had the prawn risotto presented with the prawns on a skewer standing up on a special plate with the risotto underneath . My friends had the Sea Bass again fresh and beautifully cooked . The deserts were creative with my wifeâs Fuego sober El Glaciar was fantastic see photo.

The restaurant is part of a hotel. The restaurant's website guides you to a fine dining review but it's simpler than fine dining. Good, wholesome food at very good prices. Service is friendly and professional. The setting is superb, overlooking the Beagle Channel.
