Travelling alone always puts me in some interesting experience anywhere. Resting from my walks around ubud, a young man greets me and offer me a fresh juice. Interested with the items they have, I have a seat and enjoy the evening at their garden. The servers continually greets me, so after a while we have a very nice conversation about Balinese offerings and naming systems. Who knew a glass of juice can expand your knowledge about the culture here in Bali. I definitely will come back to have dinner here, with this kind of service I'm sure I will enjoy the dishes they serve.

The restaurant seems to be located within a nice hotel; the restaurant is at the front just behind its impressive infinity pool.The rating seems adequate as the main thing: the food was excellent! They have quite a variety between Western and Indonesian. We logically went for the local flavors. The satay dish as entrance was outstanding and so was my beef curry (dann remember the name) as main course. The meat was amazing.The only downside was that they didnât have quite a few dishes on the menu. Neither were they able to prepare all cocktails, i.e. shame as the description of the Bloody Mary was very tempting. Cocktails were ok but not outstanding; the wine we chose was neither on the list and we were suggested their most expensive instead (from Chile). I recommend not to take it as it was flat and mainly disappointing. The reason I am still giving 4 stars is the food and the fact the people serving were very kind. Lovely setup hidden at the end of Jalan Bisma, Nice welcome and by the way the service was excellent throughout the meal BUT, like everyone else, we go to a restaurant for the food.. and we were quite disappointed.. Just had our best Bali restaurant experience at Swept Away at the Samaya Ubud. The setting down by the river, the excellent staff and food to die for make this a must not miss experience if you come to Ubud. It is a bit out of the way from town but worth the taxi ride. We have eaten at a lot of good restaurants in Bali however this is the best

We stayed at Visesa for 10 days and our last night we booked for dinner and received a complimentary massage each. Firstly the massage was amazing in a cave, with running stream then the dinner was even more amazing, the experience was exceptional The Team in Padi fine dining are amazing, we had the Degustation menu with pairing wines, absolutely superb, Stri and Wayan have an amazing team and they looked after us so well, Made the Sommelier was so knowledgeable in the pairings, we wish they were in London, that was first class standard . At first we were a little apprehensive as the entrance to the restaurant winds you through a building site thatâs not attractive. ( this of course is only temporary)However,once you pass the building mess you are greeted with a well lighted path through a rice field to the restaurant. You are greeted with a warm Balinese welcome a shown to your semi outdoor seating. Try and book the table overlooking the fields. The menu Has variety of excellent choices. You can pick the chefs affair or select from an array of tasty tapas ( large) dishes. The food is presented with perfection and taste. This is a must try.

We have eaten in many restaurants around the world with Michelin stars including 6 which have/had at the time 3 stars and Aperitif was definitely up there as a dining experience. The degustation menu offers diners the chance to enjoy several flavours from the kitchen and each course is presented brilliantly. The ambience and decor of the restaurant and the wonderful bar add to the appeal.
