Restaurant Sjalotte serves a delicious French all-day menu of classic dishes with a contemporary twist. Our dishes are made by Chef Mathijs Koonen formal chef at several Michelin restaurants and is now proud owner of Sjalotte. Enjoy our daily made menu wi
Had an exceptional x-mas party with the social club, 50 persons present. The four course menu with accompanying wines were outstanding. The culinary and service level the owners accomplished would put many star restaurants to shame. A definite must if you are a foodie. Enjoy.

We stopped there for lunch halfway through a beautiful hike between Fourons le Compte and Noorbeek. We chose the blood pudding croquettes and the Stilton salad for the main courses and the gourmand coffee and a dame blanche for dessert. They were all very tasty with obviously fresh ingredients and nicely presented. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere inside very old Dutch. We loved it.We paid 55 eur for both of us including two beers : very reasonable taking account of the quality.

I had a romantic dinner there. We had the 4 course menu (skipped the cheese) for 42,50. It started with a small amuse-bouche, then cold starter, hot starter, main dish and dessert. Everything was delicious. The wine that can accompany each dish was good but not worth the 20 EUR. Just choose 3 glasses and it will be cheaper. Located in one of the small "impasses" close to the "Montagne de Bueren", very cool!In general, I thought it was slightly too expensive but we had an excellent meal.

After a friendly welcome in this beautiful redecorated place, we noticed that our reservation was not in the book. Fortunately there was a table available for us.We made our choice à la carte, while they also propose menu's (35â¬/45â¬). Mixed feelings for the food. My grated oysters were fine and the entrecote was good. My table mates had another opinion about the Nems or the Pichana. Correct choice of wines.Overall we had a nice evening and got a friendly service. In warmer days you can eat at the terrace or have a smoke. No Amex accepted.
