The service was terrible. The manager gave childish excuses for why we had to wait for 2 hours 30 minutes to be served the most basic of food. I wouldnât recommend this place to anyone. There have to be better places in Tamale. Donât waste your time!

Crest Restaurant (aka "Giddipass") is on Hospital Rd in Tamale, around 50m from the Forsmuel Shopping Centre. You will find a reference in the Bradt: Ghana guide (Volume 5) on page 370.

Crest restaurant and its footop bar Giddipass has been the centre of Tamale nightlife for years - although now to be eclisped by the better Chuck's Bar. The rooftop is too hot in daytime (no shade) but great for views over Tamale at night or dusk. The Crest restaurant serves passable Afro-chinese dishes very, very slowly (check what is acutally available first). But the beer is cold and plentiful!Thanks Anna for visiting us and for your comments.
