We ate at Taverna International on the last evening of our holiday. We only wish that we'd found it before then. Although we had good meals in all the tavernas we used, the meal in this one was excepional. My husband was taken into the kitchen to choose the fish he wanted and he said it was cooked to perfection. The waiter was very nice and as we were passing the taverna he offered us the menu to look at but he was not pushy at all. We had a lile walk around and decide to go back and give it a go. We were very happy that we did.

This is the only time in my life that Iâve been compelled to ask the waiter to tell the chef that this food is absolutely terrible... La Vaporetta has a lovely location by the water and pleasantly shaded on a hot afternoon. The lunch for two was the most expensive we have had during our eight days here. Weâve had delicious food especially twice at Tholos. But today we tried something different - an âitalianâ restaurant. Dreadful food. Awful âchipsâ and the lamest âsaladâ. So I did speak to the waiter - I understand heâs doing a job and not responsible for the shockingly bad food. I asked him to please let the chef know... etc. He didnât mind. He just said âOkâ. Donât go.

Stopped iff here for a snack. OMG the club sandwich was enough for two. Lovely food lovely staff and the large beer is actually large. And seems strong too. Would definitely recommend
