Find out what International restaurants to try in St. Croix. Isn’t it romantic? The Caribbean island of St. Croix is practically the backdrop of a Hollywood love story. White sand beaches and lush rainforests set the scene for tropical bliss. Take in the historic small town charm of Christiansted and Frederiksted, sip your way through a spirited tour of the Cruzan Rum Distillery or explore the ruins of a sugar plantation. Off the beaten track, located one block form the Frederiksted Pier, Lost Dog Pub has been a St.Croix institution for over 20 years. See why are voted best Pizza, Sports bar, Karaoke and most entertaining bar staff. Unique decorum, eclectic jukebox, darts,
First night in Frederiksted and starving. Nothing open that we could find. Asked someone on the street for a place to eat and ended up here. Pizza pretty good, pretty high beer prices. People friendly. Kind of surprised that this was listed in the top 10 in Frederiksted. I think there are only 10 places in town.

Located in front of the Frederiksted Pier, Tap Deck offers draft beer, fine wines, fresh cocktails, & two pool tables, in our cozy, air-conditioned bar! Or spend the afternoon sipping cocktails on our breezy outdoor gallery, watching the bustle of the Fre
First let me explain, the drinks are amazing especially their specialty drinks. Youâve not had anything until you stop there. Then there is the food, talk about amazingly flavored wonderfully prepared food! We have had appetizers we have had main courses and we will be back again and again for as long as we are visiting. Absolutely mind blown

The Beach Side Café at Sand Castle on the Beach Hotel offers open-air, seaside dining with spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea. Our varied menu offers fresh-catch seafood specials along with American favorites and local flavor. Thursday through Monday,
Had reservations to ensure that we got a table at the edge of the deck so that we had uninterrupted views of the sunset. The service was great. We decided to split the main entree which was Terriyaki Chicken pasta. This was actually very tasty. Ordered the seafood chowder and the house salad to begin the meal and these were very good. This was our second favorite dinner which on St. Croix this time. Really like the views from here. Getting to beachside is a haul for us since our villa is on the east end of the island, but it is well worth the 40 minute drive.

A St. Croix Tradition Since 1982! Located downstairs in an historic Danish townhouse, you'll find a cozy, well known establishment known as The Bombay Club. Dine in air conditioned comfort for lunch or dinner. Select items from our table menu or choose on
Itâs been over two years since the first time my wife and I have eaten here and I can say that it will not take as long for our 3rd visit. Food is excellent and the service and ambiance are laid back and very welcoming. A touch on the pricey side. My wife and I both had an appetizer, salad and one drink along with our entrée and the bill was little over $130. They do offer cheaper items obviously but I would say that our bill is about average. Makes for a special occasion type place in my opinion. Again, food was great and the drinks were too. Will be back.Hello and thank you for the kind words and review, and excellent rating for Bombay. Iâm glad you had a good time, and look forward to your return visit.

Family vacation dinner night out and so glad we picked Duggan's Reef. Food is absolutely incredible. Entrees ordered at our table included the Surf & Turf NY Strip & 1/2 small lobster, Wahoo Seafood special, Filet Mignon, & Spiced Pork. All were delicious. Wine list is very limited but does have good choices. Dining is all outside on a covered deck right on the sea with incredible views. Two reasons I scored them 4 vs 5 is because 1) the pet cat "Tuna Can" jumped upon our table when our 1st course was served; shocked and suprised we shoo'ed her away and she kindly abliged. And 2) Service was good but ot great. Much more attention was given to the well-known locals and we were tourists and I guess it was assumed we were just one-time diners. A little disheartening but the delicious food is worth the trip.

We have been spending summers on the island for seven years now. We have always loved this place for it's ambiance and delicious cuisine. Whether we sit inside or on the terrace we always enjoy ourselves. Quaint, friendly and great food. Treat yourself, reservations recommended especially on the weekends.

Like clockwork, hubby and I migrate to St. Croix at the end of May for 9 days to celebrate our anniversary and reconnect with our island "home". Last year for our 20th, we were fortunate enough to arrange an amazing 3-course dinner with cocktail pairings featuring Cruzan Blackstrap Rum at balter. I reached out to Patrick, owner and GM of balter, again this year and he graciously agreed to do it again for us! Unfortunately, Patrick was off island during our visit, but the Assistant GM, Dave, knew just who we were and warmly welcomed us. Alex started us off with a Sazerac at the bar, and she could not have been more gracious and friendly as we savored our cocktail and munched on delicious house made popcorn. Nothing compares to a great Sazerac, and Alex brought this classic drink to the islands with a sorrel infused ice ball. We enjoyed it so much, we had to have another... Soon enough, it was time to sit down for our special dinner, marked by a lovely "Happy 21st Anniversary" placard on the same table we sat at last year. Yes, they even remembered that!! I believe our server's name was Angela, but I could be wrong. Apologies if I'm mistaken, but she was very kind and attentive and guided us perfectly through our meal. "Our" table is right next to the open kitchen, so we were able to watch Chef Brian (and another Chef whose name I unfortunately didn't get) as he cooked and smell the tantalizing aromas of our meal as the courses were prepared. Alex created a drink just for us to go with our meal that featured Blackstrap and Captain Morgan, and it was DELICIOUS. The tropical flavors paired wonderfully with our first dish...perfectly, and I do mean PERFECTLY cooked scallops with smoked fish and hints of Blackstrap. While we didn't want to take the last bite, we knew more deliciousness was on the horizon. Our second course was a juicy, smoked beef brisket over mashed potatoes, drizzled with Blackstrap gravy. UN...BE...LIEVABLE! Another of our special cocktails arrived just as we were presented with creamy Blackstrap infused ice cream and a decadent slice of chocolate cake. Chef Brian even came out to toast us with a shot of Blackstrap! VERY well-deserved after conceiving of and preparing such an unforgettable meal. On balter's website, Patrick is quoted saying "Itâs the warmth of the staff that makes balter special." That statement could not be more true, and we can't say enough how much we appreciate the efforts of every team member. The care they feel for their guests is palpable and elevates what could be just another amazing meal into a one of a kind and truly memorable experience. Thank you so much, and we can't wait to see you all next year!!We love the opportunity to help make your 21st Anniversary so special! It'll only keep getting bette every year after! Congratulations you two! You two are an inspiration for love! Thanks so much of the great review! We look forward to seeing you again soon!

Went for lunch(May 23,2019). Service and Atmosphere was great as usual. Food was good, menu was too limited for our "picky" teen-aged son. Have dined here for dinner in the past(April 2018) and have a similar positive experience. Will visit again.

We made a point of going to breakfast at Cafe Fresco, three yitrme during the week! The menu is always nice and food is well prepared and reasonably priced ass compared to the rest of the island places. Everything on the menu has proven delicious, so I recommend you try whatever you like-it's all good!
