bistro and bar food. Very good place; I'd like to review it.
Last review was a few years ago and I'm happy to report that Martel has remained the same--it's all great. There's nothing that escapes the attention to detail and the quality, with the result being amazing food and a great experience. Standard menu items, specials, brunch, wine, desserts--everything is wonderful, can't go wrong. Even something that sounds simple is more complex, raising it out of the ordinary. We can conveniently catch Martel on our way back from the city but it's worth going out of your way, don't miss it. Or if you're local, what are you waiting for? Seriously, one of our top favorite spots!

I was looking forward to eating at Bonda. The menu looked interesting and the location was off the beaten trackâaway from the Downtown Fairfield scene or Blackrock Turnpike. It was a disappointing evening. The service was poorâfood took too long to appear, some new servers were being trainedâalthough everyone smiled. Waiters were nowhere to be found, glasses not filled up, etc. The food was just ok. Appetizer of scallop (2) was fresh although the sauce was a mud puddle of flavors which did not mix. The fried chicken was not crispy, the steak was not a great cut of meat. Dessert ok but not very innovative. $180 with tip and two glasses of ok wine. Diners seemed to be enjoying themselves and a nice atmosphere in a minimally decorated space. A terrific French restaurant La Colline Vert used to be in this location. Manager and owner should take note and up there game.

We had a very enjoyable lunch. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to be seated outside- lovely covered patio seating. They had a very good lunch menu- sandwiches, salads, appetizers, pasta dishes and entrees. In addition they serve drinks and desserts. I had the homemade veggie burger with a side house salad. It was a generous serving and everything was very fresh and tasty. My husband had the Chicken Caprese sandwich with a side Caesar salad. We both enjoyed our food. In addition we had very good service.

Inspired by a healthy, outdoor lifestyle, bartaco combines fresh, upscale street food with a coastal vibe in a relaxed environment. bartaco is specialty cocktails crafted with fresh-squeezed juices, beer out of a bottle, and hand-held foods delivered on m
Went with a bunch of friends for cocktails and dinner. We had some great margaritas and Manhattans, followed by (more than likely) every kind taco on the menu. Each one was better than the one before. Service was excellent and you can't beat sitting outside on a lovely spring evening. The only thing that bothered us was the height of the tables. Having to crouch over to eat was a bit awkward; the tables are more for setting down you drink.Hello,Thank you so much for your 4 star review. I am thrilled to see you thoroughly enjoyed your time with us. The tables outside are shorter but we think it adds more to our laid back coastal vibe. Please let me know the next youâre in, Iâd love to send over a couple of drinks on me and introduce myself personally.Thank youKatie
