We recently visited for my birthday and could not have had a nicer lunch experience, we were greeted by friendly staff who seated us and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. We were particularly awkward about dessert but nothing was too much trouble and when mine came out it had been specially created for me with the words Happy Birthday. If you havenât been yet and youâre local you really must!!!

Only one night here and wished it was longer. Really comfortable large first floor room. Very quiet, beautiful country outlook and great continental (by choice) breakfast. Wished weâd had the time for dinner here. Very friendly staff. Great location. If weâre ever in the region again, a must stay.

Stopped by for my first visit. The staff were very friendly and quick and decor chilled and welcoming. We ordered the veggie burger and beef burger, both of which were superb! Probably the best burger Iâve had for years. Very fresh and not at all greasy. The sweet potato fries were delicious too. A great âoff the beaten trackâ find and one Iâll certainly be back too again soon :)

Lovely place and an even lovelier hostess.Ok ,it was a Tuesday evening, however that didnât stop the French rose ,Cote De Provence being served at exactly the correct room temperature.A lovely quirky bar, with some monks benches!!......I just love monks benches!I really wish these guys so much luck, as they thoroughly deserve it.
