Now in it's thirty-fourth season, the Shallow Shaft Restaurant is an eclectic dining experience set in the beauty of Little Cottonwood Canyon. Chef Kurtis Krause welcomes you to our unique and intimate restaurant that is the perfect place to enjoy our reg
At the end of a family ski trip at Alta we enjoyed a great dinner at the Shallow Shaft. The seafood and the gnocchi were hits with everyone. An excellent wine list allowed us to pair great wines with our entrees. The cream of asparagus soup was a wonderful first course. Service was first rate - attentive but not over-bearing. It really is THE PLACE for dinner in Little Cottonwood Canyon.

We had heard about this restaurant and were anxious to visit. The waiter helpful and attentive. I ordered the chef's special that day (which sounded scrumptious), a bone-in pork chop with a mustard sauce. Unfortunately, it had been over-brined and was almost too salty to eat, and the sauce overpowered. I did eat it, as I could tell the chop was great, but just way too salty. Hopefully they will modify this dish if repeated. I did enjoy the meal in spite of the salty chop, and would return if om the area again. My mate's salmon was perfect, and the waiter was great.

This is a fantastic, relatively new dining option in Park City. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. I had the gnocchi, she had the falafel. We wanted a bit of a more substantial meal so we each augmented our selection with the marinated chicken breast. Both plates were bursting with flavors, while maintaining a high level of healthfulness. In other words, the chef relied on high-quality ingredients, herbs, and spices, rather than slathering the food with cheese or sauce or other miscellaneous nonsense. The food was delicious and we felt good about eating it. The gnocchi was perfectly preparedâno easy taskâand the chicken breast was a nice size, tasty, juicy, and tender. Plenty of interesting options on the menu, and a good take-out selection, of which we will certainly partake in the future. The place is small, so I think dining outside when the weather permits would be a great option. Service was extremely friendly, but not intrusive. Prices are...well, it's Park City so it is what it is. But for food of this quality it's worth every penny.Thank you for stopping in & for taking the time to review us. We are working on more outside dining! We hope you come back when the weather is nicer & enjoy another meal outside!

A true local's pub where friends gather for good food and drinks in a warm and comfortable environment, everyone feels right at home at Flanagan's Irish Pub & Restaurant. We offer authentic Irish fayre, premium beers and spirits, with menu selections rang
This was the worst boiled dinner ever. $20 and wrong vegetables, no potatoes, summer squash and zucchini $23 for the extra plate. Meat was very fatty. Potato skins the smallest I ever saw 5 halves! I had 3 tiny cubes of chicken I had to look to find $14! Had one good server and switched to another. We bought drinks and t-shirts and tipped well. Too bad children are not allowed into every pub....

The Mariposa's intimate setting including crackling fireplaces sets the mood for an extraordinary dinner at Deer Valley's premier dining establishment. Savor The Mariposa's tasting menu, dining the way chefs love to, exploring and tasting as many of the o
We really enjoyed our two dinners at Mariposa. It was the highest level dining (in terms of preparation/techniques. and professional service) we found. For starters, we had the lobster chowder, and the tomato tart with burrata. The second night we started with some NW Pacific oysters, which were nice. The steak and lamb were both very high quality meats. and prepared just perfectly. The Guinea Hen Saltimbocca was bit salty, but still nicely prepared. The Morgan Valley Lamb Chop was good, and large (a bit fatty). so it didn't matter much that the lamb belly roulade that came with it was too chewy/tough to enjoyably eat. The rib eye steak for two was great. Nice meal, nice ambiance.
