This was the first breakfast place we tried on our vacation and it was my favorite. It had an old-fashioned diner feel to it. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Our 5YO granddaughter loved the Mickey Mouse pancake. My hash browns were crisp and tender and the bacon was crisp. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. One thing I definitely appreciated was the fact that it was neither crowded nor noisy. That was the icing on the cake for me.Thank you for your business and your great review.Nick

This Open Sesame restaurant in Long Beach is highly rated, but we found it to be only average. Our food did not come out as ordered, and the staff was extremely busy, so resolution took some time. We did not receive the personal attention we thought we should given the issue. To sum up, the food and service was only average. They were really busy, so our experience may represent the fall of their success.

Great Greek and Mediterainan options. we had greek salad with olives and added chicken. great large portion. also had Mediterranean plate apitizer goos for 4 people. and a salmon and shrimp dish. fish was grilled but a bit thin but good for cafe. also large fruit plate. for 3 of us with leftovers and 2 ice teas $46. reasonable and very clean food.great for cafe style. note its a non service cafe you pay for food first then they bring it to you. not full service but a great option away from CA fast junk food.5 star for cafe and for a lunch.
