Also a small guest house & Resturant with approx 15 tables & bar area
We went to this restaurant for little late for lunch. It was almost deserted. But we had determined to have lunch there, as we had planned lunch in different restaurants every day. The ambience was nice. We had ordered Goan fish curry and meals for my wife and chicken Biriyani for me. It took some time, but the food was nice and hot. My wife said that the fish curry was nice. The Biriyani also was good. The rates were medium. Photos attached. We managed to get some Photos of the restaurant in lights,in the evening, from outside, when we were returning from Cris cruise, as we had to pass this restaurant to board the boat. It was well decorated for the christmas and the Bar and restaurant was lively with music.

Really great environment, entertainment such as live music or Karaoke most nights. Food was to die for, especially the fresh strawberry juice, that was actually incredible! Would definitely recommend this to families, couples and solo travellers!!

3rd year in Goa and absolutely love this place. Understanding Sandra's accent is a job lol, Patrick is a brilliant cook and I've always been served beautiful and well priced food. The shack is tucked away without WiFi but that's perfect for me.Never had a problem with the owners daughter but then again, staring at teenage girls isn't my thing. Great chilled out atmosphere and food to match, see you next year!

We had passed this place on a few occations and noticed it was empty. Eventually we gave it a try . Initially the staff seemed a little uninterested but after engaging with the manager she was very chatty and pleasant Ambience obviously quiet but ok the furniture is wooden and comfortable as opposed to the plastic seating you often get. On both occasions we had a tandoori dish as we were trying for something less rich than we had been eating all dishes were good including 1/2 chicken and tikka. Side salds were fresh and adequate and the butter nans were excelantThe cost was reasonable average to that area I would go again Not sure why it is not busier certainly nothing I saw would put me off

Top class, clean fine dining restaurant with live music everyday.
The food is here is excellent and so are the people. Absolutely beautiful food. The fry beef was awesome. I tried the manchow soup which was lovely. But the best was their caramel custard. I could not stop having that, portion one after the other. Don't ever miss that if you are here. Hello! Thank you for the wonderful review :) We are truly delighted to know that you had a lovely time with us at Pentagon. On your next visit do try our FAMOUS Tender Coconut Pudding and Serradura. Looking forward to host you. Team Pentagon.

Quick service, good food especially the vegetarian dishes. Occasional live music. Prices are good. Maybe lacks some atmosphere @ tables very close together but still a good place to eat.

Martins Restaurant Margao offers a unique dining experience wherein you can experience the best of international cuisine and also authentic Goan cuisine at value for money rates .Our constant endeavor at Martins Margao is to always offer something differe
Just so so food served with average zest. The big advantage is the location- heart of the busy city of Margao. Parking can be a problem.

we spent every day of our 2 week holiday at Sams shack and had a great time. food and drink plentiful however menu a bit limited we queried why there were no biryanis on the menu and were told we could have one just ask for it.We tended to eat indian food for lunch and everything was excellent , we had dinner once and there was a fantastic atmosphere - we wished we had gone back for dinner more.Prices were all very reasonable

Everyone seemed to rave about this place and it was only a 15min walk from the hotel so we thought we would give it a try. We were the only westerns there and it was very busy with locals. The service was not the best, the forgot my starter and my husband had finished before it came. My Red Thai curry was fully of prawn shells and very salty. We didn't stay for dessert or anymore drinks or go back during our stay Hello MarkAppreciate your time to write this feedback. Would you be kind enough to share the time n date details of your visit on [email protected] We will investigate n take corrective actions immediately for non-repetition of such lapsesRegardsTeam Martin's

This was the closest restaurant to my guest house, and is a decent one. It's a good place to hang out in, which I did a couple of times. The other times I ordered in, and they offer home delivery including payment by card. They even complied with my strange requests for salt one day and lemon wedges on another. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. The food can be improved: the Goan fish curry in coconut milk was great; beef xacuti was okay; and chicken cordon bleu was subpar. Hash browns and fries were okay; the sweet-salty lemon water was too concentrated. Overall, nice place with average food. Want to try their home-made coconut ice cream next time.
