We arranged to meet 2 friends here for lunch- itâs a favourite destination of us all. We left an answerphone message to book and arrived to be greeted by the lovely landlady and to find our table in the garden prepared. We sat under the vine in the always pretty garden. The men ordered the chicken curry and the ladies the best quiche we had ever tasted. The beer and wine were excellent and the puddings divine. Thank you for a super time.Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We do appreciate our regular customers.

We had a delicious lunch on a hot day. The portions were generous and sandwiches were excellent. We ending up wrapping up leftovers to take away as there was so much. The watermelon salad with mint and lime was amazing. Very friendly staff too, who were happy to advise us on boat hire. That's great to hear, thank you so much. Will share your comments with the team. Hope we see you again.

This pub full of locals is my favorite stop when Iâm staying at Leeford Place Hotel, just down the road. Nigel is a great proprieter, and the food is excellent! On a Friday I recommend the steak on a stone, but the Greek dishes are fantastic as well. If you fancy a pint and a bite to eat you canât go wrong at the Royal Oak.
